Short: Bite

It was a oddly normal day and the group of 4 was now relaxing. It was 10:50 at night and June and Carter were on guard duty. Carter says "Hey June, I'm gonna go get some lunch. Want anything?". June shook his head and says "Unless it's an energy drink then no.". On the way back Carter thought he heard something then labeled it off as nothing.

"*Yawn* Good morning." Niki says walking out wearing some pink shorts and a light blue over-sized t-shirt. Zira looks to her while setting down some coffee and goes red. "Uh.... Babe, you've got a....". Carter and June look at her and smirk. "What?". She then rubs her neck and realizes the situation. "Well Niki, that's a large bruise you got on your neck there." June says smiling. "I- it was a mosquito!" Niki says covering it.

"That must have been a good mosquito then!" Carter says with a smug grin. "So tell me," June says as Zira sips her coffee. "Did Zira enjoy your poison~" He says forcing Zira to spit out her coffee and glare at him. ".... You have until this coffee is done to hide.".
