Jayce took his time reading through the status menu. The first thing he noticed was that the system no longer identified him as a human but as a demon.
He was also level three, and he remembered getting notifications about leveling up after killing the lycanthrope.
Ignoring that bit, he scrolled down to look at the stats and skills section.
Seeing that his stats each increased by 5 meant that his additional award was already applied, meaning that the additional stat points were his to use.
There were a few questions he had about the status menu that was bothering him.
'System, what does each stat represent? Why is my stamina reduced by so much, why do I have no mana, and what does it hell does it mean that the Demonic Eye of Truth is not implemented?' Jayce was getting irritated that he wasn't receiving his reward after growing through all of that trouble.

[Question 3, the host was not born with mana so that stat is currently zero. Question 4, the skill {Demonic Eye of Truth} can only be implemented once the Host has given permission.]
After reading the notification, he started focusing his attention on each stat as a description appeared under each one.

Thinking about where to put his additional stat points, another message appeared.

Reading this made his decision easier as he knew exactly where he wanted his stat points. After finishing he quickly reviewed his Status Menu one last time.

[Answering Host question. Question 1, yes the Host can gain mana either by eating a mana fruit that is extremely rare or by obtaining a skill from the system that allows you to do so.]
Receiving that information and being satisfied with his distribution of stat points, he decided to give permission to implement the skill.

The red branches within his body started to spread toward his right eye. Surrounding his entire right eye, the branches begin to consume the eye.
'SYSTEM CANCEL, AHHH!' With his body paralyzed, he couldn't do anything to stop it, he couldn't even scream except inside his mind.
The heart rate monitor connected to Jayce began to beep loudly with warning as Jayce's heart rate spiked to dangerous levels.
[The implementation of a skill can not be canceled once initiated.] The system replied in a robotic voice as it continued to consume his right eye.
Doctors and nurses could be seen sprinting through the hallways toward the room from where the heart rate monitor was beeping.
Once the eye was completely devoured, red thread started to gather where his eye once was.
The red thread started to construct a new eye, identical to the one it ate with the only difference being a black circle formed in the crimson iris.

Throwing the doors open, multiple doctors hurriedly entered the patient's room. Jayce could be seen lying on the hospital bed with blood flowing down from his right eye.
