Although it appeared that Britney had calmed down, in truth, she was still afraid.

Under the table, her hand was still shaking, doing her best to keep it from spreading to the rest of her body.

"Absolutely, fucking not," Jayce replied almost instantly. "I came here to tell you not to use demon energy under any circumstance."
