Chapter Thirty Two

"What?" Alex looked at Adrian in confusion.

"I said, let's have lunch."

Alex cleared her throat. Trying to restore focus that has been scattered everywhere. It seems that she was too absorbed in the song that was sung by Adrian, which the man sang very well, by the way, as if the song was about her. Or maybe she was just fascinated by her best friend's voice? She had to admit that Adrian's voice was indeed good, good enough to be a singer. It is raspy and a little deep. The kind of voice she likes in a man.

"Alex?"

"Okay," she answered. "I think I'm getting hungry anyway."

Adrian chuckled. "Are you that mesmerized by my voice?"

Alex snorted loudly. "Excuse me? Hearing you sing actually makes me hungry."

The man shook his head disapprovingly, but in the end, he didn't argue with the woman any further. "Where would you like to have lunch?" He then asked to change the subject.
