Chapter Thirty Eight

Alex woke up when nausea gnawed at her stomach. Not to mention her violently throbbing head that felt like it was about to burst. With all her might, she pushed aside the blanket and ran to a door in the corner of the room to her left. As soon as she got there, she immediately took out all the things that made her stomach uncomfortable and put them in the sink. She didn't have enough time to go straight to the toilet bowl.

It took a few seconds for her before her stomach felt normal. After the vomiting ended, her body felt weak, and her head ached again. She was sure she could sleep in the bathroom right now.

"Ouch, my whole being hurts..." she muttered as the pulse in her head got worse. It felt like someone was splitting her head in two. "What is wrong with me?"
