"I really hate night events"

"wrong! you hate every event"

"Ugh"

The time was 8pm and it was the perfect time to go clubbing, for those who know nothing about clubs.

"Which club are we going to? No, can we not go at all"

Yold as usual wanted to spend the night at home.

"Is this how it's going to be, you complaining every time"

"Is it bothering you?"

Yold thought he had finally gotten a hold of Friday. He couldn't hold back the surprise and excitement in his voice.

"Nope"

Well that ruined it.

"Well... I have work tomorrow"

"Actually you're going to find work tomorrow. Don't be a sneeze let's go"

Friday dragged Yold out of the house and they started their search for a club.

"Club at this corner"

Friday creeped slowly up to an alley and then jump in as if it was a hide n go seek game

"Your having fun"

"Am I never having fun"

Friday kept creeping up on every alley they walked by.

"I don't think we'll be able to find one, maybe we can go home and scout out some for later"

Later was an understatement, Yold was never leaving that house.

Friday walked out of another alley.

"Actually I had found some"

"Wait, really? why didn't you say anything?"

"Never go to the first club you see, they say"

"Who says!?"

Yold blurted out

"That's not the point, we'll find a better place"

The whole better place theory didn't bone well with Yold.

"I'll just ask someone"

Yold walked up to a stranger standing by the side walk. From his body movement he was waiting for his friends.

"Excuse me, do you know any good clubs around here?"

The man turn around, he was dark skinned and well dressed. He looked Yold and Friday from up to down.

"First time?"

He could tell that they never been.

"It's that obvious?"

Yold said as he awkwardly scratched the back of his head.

"Do you know some either way?"

"Hmm yeah, I'm going to one right now, just waiting for my mates. We can go together but be warned this club in particular might be a bit much for first timers"

Yold's first thought was 'yep here's my cue to leave'. He wasn't about to do anything courageous today.

"We're totally up to it"

Friday pushed Yold aside, got really close to the stranger and spoke directly into the guy's face.

"Your crazy but your friend looks like he wants to go home"

The stranger pointed out the face Yold was making.

"Don't mind him, he has resting 'wanttogohome' face but his secretly rearing to go. Let's meet up with your mates and partey!"

Friday was on a high and was never coming down until he had his fill.

After waiting a few minutes a pair of males and females came up from beyond the block. Since the area Friday and Yold stood was a small hill, they didn't notice them coming until they were really close and Yold was freaked. When he heard this were the people he was waiting for, he came down.

"I don't know this dudes"

"Calm down, they're cool. The one on the right is pretty crazy, I don't know if you want to step up"

The strangers started introducing themselves from the black guy. He's name was Brody, the tough guy was Clyde. They were three more behind those two, a quite guy who had his head warmer covering most of his eyes, his name was Cove. The other two were girls. The first one was really tall and had green highlights on her hair, with a tattoo of multiple spiders from her shoulder to her wrists. Her sleeveless top showed off her skillfully made tattoo and her name was Eve.

The other was wearing bright colors. A red Top with blue denims and purple pants. Her hair was packed into a pig tail with pink highlights. Her name was Adam, she and Eve were couples.

When he heard her name, Yold's eyes wandered curiously but it lasted for a nanosecond before going back to normal.

"Why are you called Adam, is that a nickname"

Friday asked and Yold's ear peeked up to hear the answer.

"It isn't my birth name if that's what you're asking but it's not a nick name either. It's my name that's it"

Friday's face brightened up.

"Oh I like you"

Friday. walked up close to her and put his hand around her shoulder. Adam didn't mind much because everyone just saw him as the crazy one.

"I'm Friday and this is my friend Yold"

Friday introduced both himself and Yold still not letting go of Adam.

"Yold? That's pretty cool"

Cove said with a soft smile on his face. Yold wasn't sure if he was being made fun of because he couldn't see Cove's eyes but his smile looked genuine enough.

"Thank you"

"you seem normal enough compared to your friend. How did you meet?"

Brody asked as he gestured the crew to follow him.

"Met him at college"

"Oh where did you go?"

"Ben's Clover"

"The highschool slash College? Me too but I think that was before you. You just finished right?"

"Yeah"

Brody slapped Yold in the back and laughed heartily.

"We're buddies from now on, here's my number"

Brody pulled out his phone and exchanged numbers with Yold. He looked at Friday who was clasping hands with Clyde.

"You also went to the Clover?"

"Nope"

Brody didn't ask further and just laughed.

Brody walked a bit further from everyone. He moved together with Cove since they were the only ones that knew the place. Friday, Adam and Clyde took up the rear with Yold and Eve in the middle.

"I like your tattoo"

"Thank you"

Everything became silent for a bit.

"I drew it myself"

"Really, that's amazing. It must have been hard to draw, are you ambidextrous or something"

Eve chuckled a bit.

"To the untrained eyes maybe but if you look closely at the spiders on my left hand, you'll find out they aren't as well defined as the ones on my right. That's because I'm left handed"

Yold squinted close to her left hands.

"Nope, can't see it"

Eve smiled again.

"I guess deceiving inexperienced people like you is also an achievement. Thanks"

"You're very welcome"

Yold stilled tried to notice the difference between the two tattoos.

Eve knocked him in the head. She was well taller than Yold, so she had a clear access to his head.

"You scallywag, stop that"

Eve laughed. She put her left hand around Yold.

"I'm your big sis from now on"

"What!?"

"Don't mind, don't mind. You want some edibles"

"Are you high?"

Yold asked in surprised.

"You're not? Brody sounded like he was taking us somewhere scary. I thought your friend was crazy but you too"

Eve was surprisingly a scaredy cat.

Yold also forgot that part and was visibly shaken but before he could say something, Brody interrupted.

"We're here"

Everyone except Brody and Cove who already knew what was behind the lone door and Friday who had no fear, swallowed hard.

"And behind the door.. is another door"

Cove made a joke reveal on everyone's expense. What was behind the door was a waiting room, that was pretty cool and another door. Yold and the others can already feel the vibration from the other room.

The crew walked towards the other door but from the chill waiting room they could already figure out Brody and Cove were teasing them. The big reveal was just a normal club with a DJ and rave lights. Nothing out of the ordinary like Brody said. Everyone took turns smacking Brody on the back, even Friday took a crack at it. It was only Cove and Yold that didn't.

"You guys good? now time to let some lonely ladies soothe my pained back"

Brody asked the crew if they were satisfied with the bodily harm they had inflicted and sadly walked off to a group of ladies.

Brody has left the party.

"Us too"

Adam and Eve left the party.

Cove is nowhere to be found.

"Come on Yold, let's dance"

The rave was moving Friday's feet. He couldn't stand still.

"Nah I'll just find somewhere to sit"

"Okay"

Friday didn't force Yold anymore. It was one thing to force him to come here but another to force him to enjoy it.

Friday left the party. It was only Yold remaining.

He walked to the bar and ordered some basic alcohol nothing too strong but not mild. Yold could hold his liquor, he calls it brains over body.

"First time?"

"You know all your customer's face?"

"Not really, you just looks more out of place than a turtle in a tortoise contest"

Yold fake laughed but he choked an ended up coughing.

"No need to force yourself, I haven't had a single person laugh with that joke"

The bartender mixed Yold's drink and served it to him.

"Have fun mate"

"Thanks"

The bartender walked away to attend to other people.

At this point Yold couldn't see any of the people he came with, the club was actually huge. Yold was just jamming with the beat when it stopped out of nowhere and he heard a familiar voice.

"This song is going out to my best friend Yold. I can't see you but I hope you can feel me"

Yold shrunk back

"I can hear it too"

He didn't hate it, it was just embarrassing.

"DJ follow me"

Most people don't know this about Friday but he can sing. I've heard him in the bathroom and other places around the house, he doesn't just have an amazing voice but he could create interesting lyrics on the spot. So when the song went off and everyone heard he was about to sing, they all booed him but when he actually started the rave was real.

The lively beats and his upbeat lyrics got the club buzzing, it almost felt like a live concert.

I wonder if that's how he made all his money. He might be a famous musician... that would make sense.

"Wild"

Yold stood up and started dancing by himself. Friday finally caught sight of him, he dropped down from the stage and rushed over to Yold. The song just ended abruptly so everyone's attention just followed Friday to Yold and he became the centre of attraction and instantly he became self conscious.

"Just focus here on me, let's dance"

Friday brought Yold's focus on himself. He started dancing without music and Yold followed. after a while the song Friday sang started playing again. The DJ recorded a good chunk of it and played it on a loop. It was the highlight of the night until it wasn't and that was the end of it. People slowly started leaving, the time was now around 2am in the morning.

"Nice song Friday, did you write it?"

Cove asked Friday as they left the club.

"I can't write songs, it's not sincere. I have to make it as I feel it"

"Is this what they call a genius?"

Brody was surprised by Friday's talent.

"Are you guys gay?"

Adam asked and everyone was interested

"Nope, I was hoping to ask you for a threesome"

Yold sighed in relief

"I thought you'll say yes"

Everyone had gotten use to crazy Friday already so no one commented on the later half of that sentence.

"Why would he?"

Eve asked

"Because his done it before"

The entire crew laughed out loud. The sound of chatter and laughter could be heard from the group but it couldn't last because everyone had to split up and find their way home.

"You guys are a crazy bunch, I'll call ya later"

Brody hit Yold on the back and all he could think was 'why me'. The others said their goodbyes and everyone exchanged number with Yold and Friday.

That was the end of the Nightiest Night.
