Loose cultivator Shi Lang gradually found himself in the realm of invincibility. However, when he finally tried to ascend to the higher realm, the spirit of the world was nearly exhausted.

So, between his ascension to a new world or the well-being of his home, he chose the latter and sacrificed his life to save the world.

Nobody knew what he gave up for the world, and he told no one. 

Although his sacrifice had gone unsung, there was still someone who witnessed everything.  A treasured artifact he carried on his body preserved his soul and let it escape a tragic end.

Eons passed.

The human race stepped out from the age of cultivation into an age of stellar conquest. 

The spirit energy in the world was now scarce, but humans found other means to excel.

In this highly-advanced time, Shi Lang's soul has found a chance to be reborn.

Ace Of Terrans

Shi Lang watched the clouds gather and then he raised his head as he slapped the cauldron. The lid flew and one cerulean blue pill with a red shine to it flew out in the void. Serenity appeared beside Shi Lang and asked in surprise, "Did you really create a pill with one set of materials?"

Shi Lang smiled and said, "Had I failed, what good this badge would be?"

Serenity did not see any ounce of doubt in his words. She was shocked, and realized that Shi Lang was not as simple as she thought him to be. Shi Lang looked at the sky and sighed, "Can you finish the build-up and get done with it? Always the drama."

The clouds thundered loudly and the lightning bolts fell from the sky and hit the pill hovering in the void. The pill was shining earlier had dimmed a bit, and Serenity became very anxious. She looked at Shi Lang who was standing with his hands behind his back.
