Unruly Monkey

Charmander and I walked down route 1's river, looked for three Pokemon.

Gyarados, Diglett, and Mankey, although I knew that Gyarados would almost be impossible for the time being, from Nurse Joy, Diglett could be found near the river and Mankey in the trees near the river.

On the way there we saw several Poliwags and Sandshrews with Magikarps jumping out of the water, "Spearow!!" "Spearow!!"

The cry of Spearows could be heard from the trees but before I could look towards them, the body of a Spearow crashed onto the ground who seemed to have fainted.

And out of the same tree jumped out a Mankey who was screaming out into the air, Charmander seems to start shaking.

Seeing this, I already knew about Mankey and Primeape's endless anger, so I stepped back a few steps.

"Charmander, get ready for battle!" I shouted as Charmander's tail flame started to blaze even hotter.

Mankey charged forward towards Charmander scratching towards him, "Charmander, knock it back with your tail and then use ember!"

But before Charmander could complete the action, Mankey rapidly swiped at Charmander, "Char!!"

"Get it off you!" I quickly order I couldn't afford for this Mankey to have the ability Anger Point or Defiant if it had defiant, and Charmander uses growl, it would lower its attack and then raise its attack so it a waste of time, if it has Anger Point Charmander can't hit it too hard or else Charmander would be screwed.

Charmander repeatedly tried to get Mankey off him but failed every time, "CHAR!"

I was thinking about how to fix this problem until I gained an idea, I took out an empty Pokeball and threw it at Mankey.

It hit it right in the head and then sucked into the Pokeball, leaving Charmander on the ground.

"Charmander, get ready to knock it down with your tail and then burn it with ember."

The Pokeball shook four times before popping open in red light before taking form into the Mankey.

"NOW!" I shouted as Charmander swung his tail towards Mankey and struck squarely.

Mankey was thrown down before Charmander swung his tail again and shot ember multiple times.

"Shaa!" Mankey screamed as it got up and charged towards Charmander with its claws slightly glowing, seeing I order Charmander to counter with Scratch.

As they clashed, Mankey and Charmander swung attack after attack and blocked each other attacks, a downward slash by Charmander blocked Mankey and it sends a slash with its other arm and Charmander blocked it and attacked again.

"Hold both of its arms, and use ember," Charmander nodded and went to hold Mankey's arms when it attacked, Charmander grabbed one of its arms, and then Mankey gave up using scratch and then kicked Charmander's legs, sending it to the ground.

Mankey held Charmander on the ground as a blue light started to shine from its fist, it paused mid-air as it seemed to be charging an attack.

The only part of Charmander is free from the hold is his tail, "Slap him from your tail!"

Charmander's tail swung forwards slapping Mankey across the face knocking it to the ground.

"Use ember now!" "And then continue until it faints!"

I quickly got out of my Pokedex and turn on the camera function.

"Char!" "Char!" "Char!" "Char!"

Charmander kept firing ember after ember, hitting Mankey every single time, but Mankey still got up and still rushed towards Charmander, but Charmander didn't stop attacking and kept firing ember when Mankey was almost in front of Charmander, it started to fall and while still falling I quickly took a picture of it and Charmander.

Charmander stopped firing, and turns towards me, he then roared into the sky as if he won a life and death battle.
