Cosplay In Class...?

As soon as I returned to D. W. Bell High on Monday, I tried to sprint to the cafeteria to get my breakfast before Hera could see me. But, sure enough, there she was, dressed as Momo Yaoyorozu, uniform and all, next to the boys' restroom waiting for me.

Looks like she was expecting me to be unprepared, but the joke's on that damn nerd! I already had my Shoto Todoroki cosplay packed in my backpack!

Let's just get this over with, I thought with a sigh.

With that, after locking the stall I was in, I changed into my U.A. uniform, popped on my wig cap, and before I put my wig on, I took out my red FX face paint, found a mirror and applied the paint around my left eye. Damn, I could be a makeup guru. Perfection.

I came out of the bathroom, secretly proud of what I'd managed to do with my face, but Hera's face had pure disgust on it.

"What? It's great. You're just jealous." I said, trying to walk past her, but she pushed me back into the bathroom with that fucking insane strength of hers. "Yo, you can't come in here, psycho! What are you doing? This is clearly the men's bathroom. You spend all your time with your nose shoved inside of mangas, maybe if you read something else for a change you'd be able to read the sign," I said before being kicked in the nuts again.

"Will you shut up? God! Now give me that!" she said, snatching the makeup palette out of my hands. "I'm supposed to be embarrassing you, but with your face looking like that, it's more like a punishment for me."

She pulled out her phone and, after pulling up YouTube, handed me one of her brushes from her MHA backpack. I was definitely gonna steal it from her later, it had Todoroki's beautiful face right in the center. Hey, even as a manly man myself, I can admit he's a good-looking dude. Anyway, she began to "fix" my makeup.

"Close your eyes, dumbass!" she whined.

"No! You might poison me or something!" I countered.

She sighed. "Man, I wish. Now close your eyes before I poke you in them," she said while very forcefully applying Todo's scar, which, I'll admit, was way more detailed than mine.

"You've ruined my face." I said while looking in the mirror, refusing to compliment that nerd.

She rolled her eyes and forced me out the door, lifting my face up every time I tried ducking.

"Let's just get this over with…" I said, following her into biology.

-------

After recieving extremely weird looks from everyone throughout the day, the part I'd been dreading the most had come; lunch.

"Ya know what, I'm not hungry, I filled up on air again-"

"Will you stop being stupid? I know that's hard for you, but at least try. Now come on, I think I see your friends over there." She grinned, yanking me by the arm.

As we entered, I realized she was right. Immediately, Ty, Najeem, and Wells had stopped us. Not only that, but those asswipes were recording us.

"Looks like we've got an audience! Come on, say one of his lines!" she said, forcing my face toward those dicks' phones. I almost refused, but secretly, I'd always wanted to embody that hot (literally) magical dude.

"...fine." I mumbled, walking up to the idiots. They wanted a show? Alright, I'll give them a show. I hopped onto the table, kicking their food out of the way, and got into the same pose I'd mocked Hera for doing. Obviously, I did it way better than her.

"I REFUSE TO USE MY LEFT SIDE!" I shouted, looking at a bunch of confused faces. There was an awkward silence, until one of the weaks in a very ugly Deku wig, which was honestly disrespectful to him, stood from his chair and shouted: "IT'S YOURS! YOUR POWER! NOT HIS!" I frowned at first, until I noticed how many people had their phones out. It was my time to shine, no matter how ridiculously stupid, but also pretty damn cool, I looked.

I started to jump off the table and do another attack pose when the Deku wannabe approached me with a girl who was dressed as Ida. Seriously, how many people cosplay in this school? Is that even allowed?

Regardless, the two jumped on the table with me.

"My dreams," The Deku one said.

"My determination," The Ida girl said.

No. No, no, no! They thought I was one of them. What, did they expect me to join them? I mean, I knew what came next, but no! I couldn't stoop that low!

I started to get down from the table until I saw Hera laughing at my humiliation. That damn nerd will not win this.

"My dreams," he repeated.

"My determination!" she said.

"And my hatred," I joined.

"Into…Power!" We all said, joining fists.

Hera looked stunned, and I loved it. I smiled at her while jumping from the table, about to gloat when Ty pulled me toward them.

"Are you for real? What the fuck is wrong with you?" He asked, half angry, half laughing.

"Yeah, that nerd is rubbing off on you, mate," Wells said while stuffing his face.

I rolled my eyes. "Look, it was either that or never watch anime- I mean NASCAR again, and you know how much I love NASCAR," I defended, shrugging.

They looked at me like I was stupid. "Dude, just deal with it. This level of fuckery is not worth it." Najeem said, yanking off my Todo wig.

I almost punched the bitch in the face; who was he to touch my newly brushed and treated Todoroki wig? Does he have any idea how much those things cost? His nasty fingers were ruining the look.

"Hey, give that back!" I snatched it back, brushing it off.

He chuckled. "Wow. You really are one of them."

"Woah, no I'm not! I'm just playing it up so that she gets out of my ass!" I said, defending myself.

"Then how did you know all those lines? Explain that." Wells said with his mouth full.

Shit. I was cornered. Quick, I needed to think of a smart and logical excuse!

"Dude, I don't know what came over me, I think I'm just psychic." Nailed it.

"Yeah. Sure."

-------

After another two hours of complete humiliation, I returned home from school and rushed to the bathroom to wash the face paint off of my face. I couldn't believe what that damn nerd made me do in front of that crowd of weaks; she just had to make me show my nerdy side!

Suddenly, a horrible thought came to mind: What were my bros going to think of me after that fiasco?

On the other hand, I felt embarrassed, but with a slight bit of pride in myself.
