Chapter 29: You Need To Go

The days and nights had slowly started to become colder, and Gisella’s troupe showed no sign of becoming any less sick from the flu that seemed to be going around. However, Otho’s condition improved, and he and Roseia had taken to caring for the ones who were unwell.

Gisella had taken to preparing meals for the troupe with Ivan in the kitchens and delivering medicine from the doctor. She had been one of the only people who was unaffected by the sickness… something that puzzled her greatly.

She had taken to asking Ryre about it later that night as she met him in his room.

During those days after he had told her about his situation, he had allowed small visits from her only during certain hours of the night. It was less than what she wanted but she knew she shouldn’t push him too much.

“Are they still not recovering?” he asked.
