11. Wound

"Get in or I'll leave."

Tara didn't want to go home with Aldrick, it's just that when she looked behind her many people started chasing her with their cell phone flashes. Gosh... This is confusing!

"Hurry up and go," Tara said as she fastened her safety belt.

The red sports car sped down the street, leaving several people who had originally gathered to look at Tara and ended up sighing in resignation at not being able to meet the model they idolized. It's nothing, it's just that because Tara's profession is an international model, something like this shouldn't just happen. After all, who knows one's intentions? Looking admiring but intent on hurting is also common in the real world for artists like this.

"You always do what you want. You can't take care of yourself? How can you go out in the open like that in a bad disguise like this."

Tara didn't respond. He fiddled with his cell phone to avoid Aldrick's annoying warnings. He doesn't like being controlled and always does whatever he wants. Then? What's the problem with his behavior? Besides, he always did whatever he wanted without Tara commenting. There are no feelings that must be guarded in their marriage because marriage occurs because of an arranged marriage not because of desire. So?

"Hey, this isn't the way to the house."

Now it was Aldrick who didn't respond. He just focused on driving without paying attention to Tara who was getting confused by the wrong direction to go home. "Shut up."

Tara snorted. "I'm not going anywhere. Go back your way or I'll jump out of this car," Tara insisted.

"Go ahead if you want to die," Aldrick replied casually while increasing the speed of the car that was getting increasingly erratic on the road. He drove fast to get there.

Tara took a deep breath and then leaned back in resignation. He didn't want to ask any more questions or he would only accept Aldrick's indifferent nature who always did whatever he wanted without being contested.

The car was still speeding down the street, going down every street to where the driver wanted it to be. There was no conversation between the two, just silence and looking ahead without interest. It's nothing because from the start no one ever cared about each other's lives even though they were husband and wife, the rooms were also different and again they never had sex or had deeper interactions. I don't know... How long will it be like that? What was clear was that Aldrick and Tara still couldn't accept the fact that they had merged.

The car drove slowly because it entered the parking area in front of a magnificent building called a hospital. Tara wanted to know what Aldrick was going to do in this place and took him instead. Meeting clients? Another boyfriend? Or...

"Hurry down."

Tara blinked in surprise because Aldrick was beside her and holding the car door which had been opened at some point. Ah, what's with this guy? Why is it suddenly good? Seriously.

Tara then got out after previously unbuckling her seatbelt with Aldrick closing the car door again. Walked first with Tara who then followed behind him. A lot of people were passing by here and Tara was worried that she would meet fans or people who hated her again and again, Aldrick didn't even try to help her by covering her face or anything from Tara. Ah, that guy is acting weird today.

Aldrick just walked into one of the rooms with a door marked with the name of one of the specialist doctors. It wasn't true that if he wanted to see a client, this annoyed Tara. He better go home and sleeps because it's his day off. Ah, Rosalie is kind, isn't she? Leave it off. Yes... Tara is very grateful for that because this month's schedule is so full that she never takes a full rest. Oh, ignore the work.

"Hello, Brother. How are you? I thought you were so busy that you never visited me."

Aldrick just smiled faintly and then sat down on the chair. "That woman is injured," said Aldrick, signaling his friend to see who he had brought to this place.

While Tara is still confused by this atmosphere. He wanted to refute Aldrick's actual words, but couldn't because he saw Aldrick's friend who had prepared a place for examination. Hey, it's even just a slight bump and Aldrick has this checked with a special doctor? Seriously. Even if given this topical medication will heal as usual. The man was overreacting.

"Come here, Miss Litara."

Tara took a deep breath and started to approach the examination bed having previously glanced at Aldrick and the man just stared at him blankly. Really weird isn't it? Did the man start thinking about approaching her? Oh, come on really. That's so funny.

The doctor who was Aldrick's friend saw the lump on Tara's forehead and smiled faintly. "Your husband is so overreacting, Miss. It's even just a small bump and he asked me to spare some time for you guys. Even though there was an operation scheduled today and I had to be absent because I didn't want to disappoint him. Oh my... Aldrick."

"He doesn't think about other people's feelings. But forgive me for interrupting your work and thank you."

Aldrick was indifferent even though the two people there were talking about him. He didn't like waiting until he texted the doctor beforehand. Excessive? Fortunately, he was willing to take the girl for treatment even though it was only a lump. Shouldn't he be thanking him and not the doctor? She didn't know where to say those words.

The handsome doctor returned to his desk with Tara who then sat down beside Aldrick. Making the man glance at it and return to being indifferent by averting his eyes.

"I'll give you some ointment for you to apply three times a day, Miss. There's no need for medicine for bumps like that and I'm sure you wouldn't like medicine, would you?"

Tara nodded approving the doctor's words like a child. Moreover, his gaze which focused on the doctor looked even more fun when he saw it.

The doctor shook his head at the famous couple in front of him. They suit a face like that. Gosh... He couldn't believe that Aldrick was his friend who doubled as the husband of this beautiful woman when he was side by side with a model as beautiful as Litara. Don't misunderstand Aldrick's face because he is handsome, but his always flat expression can always make other people excited to change him. Ah, God is so good at bringing them together.

The doctor gave Tara the prescription and the wrapped ointment and glanced at Aldrick who was still silent with a nonchalant look. Why again with this man? Can't he just stare? Truly.

"You want to have yourself checked too? I see your soul is turning a bit."
