Icy Memories

The next day at the school building the teacher got a smile on her face and held out her hand. "Everyone, we have a new transfer student today!" She said as a teenage girl came up. She had short bangs that were cyan, dark blue sweatpants and sweatshirt, 5'4, cyan colored eyes, and had a milky complexion. "Hello." She said as if she was bored. Widow heard Chloe whisper to her "A new person.... Who isn't from silver city.... She's not gonna last a week.".

It was Monday so before anything else the students all went to the #1 class: Power training. The teacher for today was Jet. "Alright! Today we will be doing the usual: Sparring box. He then taps a button and a large energy field box appears with to entrance at the front and back. "And for the first two contestants: Widow K and our new student Lily Z". They both entered the box and widow brought out another set of arms as the box closed up. "The rules are simple. You either tap out or blackout!". Lily put her fist up and put on some blue goggles.

"FIGHT!".

"I'll let you get the first hit newbie." Widow said confidently. Lily nodded and said in a high pitched voice: "You'll come to regret that decision.". Her eyes flashed blue and she disappeared from Widow's sight. In less then a blink she was behind Widow. The moment she turned around she way punched in the face. "I did warn you!" She said in the air. Everyone looked up to see what looked like dragonfly wings on her back. She was a Pixie.

Pixies will usually always have 2 things: wings, and an element.

"Why you little!" Widow said slinging dark blue glowing web at her. She moved quickly and landed behind her. "Boop!" She said touching Widow's nose when she turned around. It was then that Ice went all over her body, except for her eyes and mouth. "You people think you're so invincible just because you have flashy abilities. Sorry little spider." Lily said as she tossed her up and froze her to the ceiling like a giant icicle. "You know you could always tap out." She said smiling.

Widow sighed and said "I'm done!". The box opened back up and Chloe rushed in and cut her down. The ice melted immediately afterwards and she looked at Lily. "All you do is rush in headfirst like you've already one. That's why you lost this fight. If you had calmed down and not rushed ahead like a fool you might have stood a better chance.". She then walked out adding "If that was a real fight, you'd be dead.".

Jet then said "For our next fight: Aaron and Chloe!". The two glared at each other and stepped into the box as the exits closed. Aaron took out his sword. Chloe created her scythe.

"FIGHT!".

They almost immediately clashed weapons and Chloe got a good look at the sword. "Where did you get that?!" she said going full powered like their last fight. She swung her weapon like last time except before the blades connected again her eyes flashed. For a second she felt like she was drowning and watched the blade come down on someone important that she just couldn't remember. With her being so distant he used the weapons power and hit her weapon so hard that is broke and sent her flying.

She then stood up breathing quicker and harder holding herself. Slowly the horns on her head grew in size and red energy turned her hands into crimson gauntlets with claws for fingers. Her eyes then turned completely red and her pupils turned into black slits. She rushed at him very quickly and launched him into the wall to the point he heard breaking. Jet looked and said "Everyone back up for a second!". Jet dissipated the box and rushed in front of Aaron with a shield. She hit the shield and with one energy place punch to the face she was knocked out.

Aaron then collapsed and Jet caught him "AARON?! Come on!". Aaron before he passed out said "I think that I broke a few things.". He then looked at everyone else and said "Widow, Lily, I know this is a lot to ask but could you get these two to the nurse?!". The two complied and started moving. "Everyone else, Class is over for today.".

In the nurses office Chloe jolted awake breathing quickly, heavily, and was shaking. She then turned and saw Lily. "You got knocked the fuck out." She said handing her some water. Tears started streaming from her eyes as she said "I- I saw something. SOMEONE. They- Sword. Cutting someone down-". She then stopped as Lily grabbed her hand. "You're experiencing what would be called a panic or anxiety attack. You need to calm down and breathe.". Chloe started taking deep breaths and calmed down.

"W- why are you here?" She said sniffling. "I was told that you didn't freak out until you saw that sword. Pixies have the ability to sometimes help others unlock lost or recent memories. It takes a lot of training but if you will allow me I could help you learn more about that weapon. Chloe's expression hardened and she said "I better not regret this....". Lily then touched her forehead and Chloe went unconscious again. "See you in an hour!" Lily said leaving.

When Chloe awoke she was in a pitch black area. "The fu-" She said before smelling smoke. All of a sudden she see's a building that's on fire and burning brightly, screams coming from inside as people keep running out. Then before anything else happens she hear slicing. And the last things she see's before she wakes up is the same sword from before except it wasn't Aaron holding it. It was someone completely different.

Where Aaron was at home his brother is healing his bruises on his back. "Ah! Could you be a little more gentle?!". His brother stopped and said "Well look on the bright side, you said you wanted to see her power!". The sarcasm in his voice was gonna make Aaron punch him. "NOT LIKE THAT!!!! I didn't want a few broken ribs as a result!". His brother bandaged his side and stood up. ".... Hey," he said having Aaron look towards him. "Wherever you got that sword, you should learn about it's origins.".
