Jaya has laid off all of his employees. Today, he would turn the second floor of the cafe into their residence.

Right now, Jaya needs to go out to buy some groceries. He advised Kenichi not to leave Joon for a second.

"Ken, I'm going to buy groceries at the market. You stay here looking after Joon." Jaya said while taking the money at the cafe cashier.

Luckily there was still enough money from yesterday's sale.

Today, he dismissed all the employees of Sacred Lotus's Cafe. Apart from wanting to clean things up, Jaya also hasn't been able to pay 3 of his employees.

"Why isn't Joon awake yet, Jay? He was complaining about being hungry. I've been trying to wake him up since an hour ago." Kenichi spoke. The look of concern was clearly visible on his face. He gently caressed his nephew's sweaty face. Maybe Joon is having a bad dream, he thought.

"Halah, it's normal. The kebo has always been the hardest to wake up. When you're hungry, you'll wake up automatically." Jaya said while putting on her shoes.

"But Joon hasn't eaten anything since the day after tomorrow you know, Jay. Is it okay like that?"

"Calm down, Ken! Joon is stronger than we thought. Let's just say he's on a diet." Jaya answered. He had seen Joon in the same condition many times, so he shouldn't worry too much about it right now. Joon will wake up alone when Joon wants to, Jaya thinks. However, it was also possible that it was just his attempt to dispel all prejudice.

"But... Jay!"

"Okay, after I get home from the market we will take Joon to the nearest hospital. After that, prepare to starve, okay? There are only a few bills in the cash register drawer. That's also only enough for our food needs for the next week." After saying that, Jaya rushed out of the cafe.

"We can pawn this cafe certificate, Jay! You can't be indifferent to my nephew's condition right now, can you?" Kenichi fierce. He looked alternately at the backs of Jaya and Joon who were still fast asleep on a long chair made of wood.

Jaya, who was still in the doorway, immediately turned around and grabbed Kenichi's collar.

"What bullshit is that, Ken!"

"You and your brother Kevin must be the same, right? In the end, you will let go of your hands on Joon. So, you don't have to bother after this! I will do everything myself for the safety of my nephew," Kenichi hissed .

Thwack!!

Jaya threw her fist at Kenichi's mouth--which he thought was presumptuous--that.

Kenichi got up. He pushed Jaya's body until Jaya's back hit the wall. Kenichi returned Jaya's punch, much louder.

"Why did you even hit me, huh?!" Kenichi snapped.

"That damn mouth of yours deserves a beating, Ken! So that you don't say any more nonsense in the future!" Jaya said coldly. He was really annoyed to hear Kenichi's accusations just now. Who doesn't care about Joon anymore? Jaya is just still confused at the moment.

"What's wrong with what I said, huh? You guys don't have any blood relation with my nephew. So, it's not impossible for you to stop caring about Joon, right?" Kenichi said with a wry smile.

"Watch your mouth, Ken!" shouted Jaya.
