Chapter 43: A mix
It's 2 PM, Niora, Kipo and Zet were in the main building, they were getting ready to go on the wolves attack.
Zet : so....I don't think I have asked you this before...why did you decide to go with us now ?
Niora : well at first I wanted to see how good you are for people with powers.....but now I'm a part of your team.....we fight together no matter how dangerous it is.
Kipo : speaking of dangerous....how many wolves are we talking ?
Niora : not sure....but I'm pretty sure they're not less than 30 wolves.
Kipo : 30 !?
Niora : yeah...what did you expect....they are a whole army of invisible predators.
Zet saw Kipo getting scared, he got his head closer to hers, she looked at him.
Zet : hey hey....you need to calm down....it's ok.....you got this.....and even if you couldn't we're right next to you.....it's going to be fine.
That made Kipo calm down a bit, but she was still scared.
She smiled at Zet.
Niora : we won't need much....they're not too far from here.
Zet : are you the closest village to them ?
Niora : we're in the middle....the only village that is closer to them is no longer alive....no one dares to go there....it's way too close to the wolve's cave.
Zet : how many Alphas ?
Niora : 3.....but I killed one of them so I'm guessing they still have 2.
Zet : alright....so here's the plan.....first we go to them in peace.....Kipo will talk to them and ask them to leave the villages alone.....and if they don't want peace.....we kill them all...simple.
Kipo : what ?...we can't just kill a whole pack of wolves.
Niora : listen.....I know that you feel bad for this but they slaughtered multiple people....do you think they felt bad ?
Kipo didn't reply.
Niora : they killed John's parents.....and many other people and now some people are left with a memory of their loved ones been eaten.
Zet : Kipo...I know that this doesn't feel right to you.....but right is not always the answer....you have a chance to talk them out of it.....but If you couldn't....I'm sorry.....we have to do this.
Kipo : and what if we can't even fight them ?
Niora : I've been protecting this village this whole time by fighting them.
Zet : and I fought a smaller pack by myself.
Niora : don't worry about it....we're stronger than them.
They finished packing.
Niora : alright....let's go.
Zet opened the door, Mikayla was waiting on the other side, Niora saw her, she then rushed to hug her.
Niora : hey.
Mikayla tightened her arms around her.
Mikayla : please come back safe.
Niora chuckled.
Niora : don't worry.....I'll come back in one piece...I promise.
Mikayla then looked at Kipo and back at Zet.
Mikayla : keep her safe.....she's better than being dead.
Zet nodded.
Niora : alright....we need to go.
They left the building.
Kipo : do we take Aya ?....it's faster.
Niora : no....it's dangerous on her....we'll walk.
They headed to the exit, Niora nodded to the guard to open the gates.
Niora : alright....here we go....is everyone ready ?.....because we can't go back from here.
Zet : aww stop making it dramatic Niora....we'll just kill a bunch of wolves and come back.....so come on.
Kipo : let's not get too confident here...
Niora : we'll head this way.....it's like 2 miles from here.
They started walking in the wild, they were silent, someone had to break the silence.
Kipo : so....Niora....I wanted to ask you a question....but it's personal.
Niora : ask me anything you want....we will live together....so it's better we know each other well.
Kipo : so what happened to your parents.....why are you the queen at 18 ?
Niora : I'm a queen since I was 13 actually.....that's because my parents ran away.
Kipo got confused.
Kipo : ran away ?
Niora : yeah.....these cowards ran away from all of their responsibilities once they saw my powers.
Zet : are they dead ?
Niora : I don't know....and I don't want to know....in fact....I hope they are.
Zet : but what about Mikayla.....she's nothing like you.
Niora : they tried to take her and leave me alone in the house to rotten.....but we had a huge connection.....I didn't let them take her.
Kipo : but how did you learn how to be a queen ?
Niora : well....just like Karen to you.....I had someone I called family when I was younger.....as most royalties do....we had a personal servant...it was an old guy his name was unknown.
Zet : unknown ?
Niora : he never told anyone his name....he didn't want anyone to ever call him....he taught me how to be a queen and took care of me until I was able to take care of myself.....he did what my own family never did.
Kipo : what happened to him ?
Niora : a year ago he died of aging.....there was nothing I could do about it but watch him lose his life in front of me.
Zet : what was his last words to you ?
Niora : he said "you are ready to rule.....your majesty"
Zet chuckled, Niora saw him.
Niora : let me guess....you lost someone too ?
Zet : yeah....but my story is worse...I killed her myself.
Niora : what's her name ?
Zet : Kate.
Niora : did she have her last words ?
Zet : she told me "become who you want to be.....not what you're meant to be"
Niora : well...I guess you have a story too and I'm not the only one...but what about your parents ?
Zet : I never knew them....this is something I can show you better than tell you later when we're back.
Kipo : do your parents know that you're the queen now ?
Niora : probably not....they probably think we died.
Zet : if you can see him again.....what would you do ?
Niora : I don't know....but I just won't waste my time thinking of the impossible...what would you do though ?
Zet : I'd probably show her what I became...If there is anything I want in this world.....it would be her being proud of me.
Niora : actually.....I think I'll do the same.....I want to show him what he made and wasted his time on.
Zet : but...I wouldn't want to see her without Kipo.
Kipo : huh ?
Zet : I want you to meet her.....I want you to see who is Kate and I want her to see who you are.....I think you'll like each...
Zet's eyes widened.
Kipo : Zet ?
Zet : of course !
he slapped his forehead.
Zet : why the hell have I never thought of this ?!
He then started laughing, Niora and Kipo were looking at him, they were confused.
Niora : umm...
Zet : I think I found a way we can talk to the dead !
Niora : say what now ?
Kipo : what !?
Zet : every body has a soul....and when someone dies....the soul departures the body...that means they go somewhere !
Niora's eyes widened in realization.
Niora : do you know if Karen did it before ?
Zet : no.....she never told me anything about this.
Kipo : wait wait.....you can see anyone ?....like anyone at all ?!
Zet : yes !
Kipo : so I can see my mom ?!
Zet : yes !....you can !.....we all can see all our loved ones !.....aww I can't believe I never thought of this Idea !
Niora : alright then.....let's be done with these wolves to come back to try this with Karen.
Kipo : but how sure are you about this Idea ?
Zet : I'm not....but It only makes sense....souls go somewhere when they leave their host body.....all we need to do is to go there wherever it is.....without dying of course.
After moments, they have reached the wolves cave
Niora : we're here.
Zet looked at Kipo.
Zet : ready ?
Kipo : no.
Zet : listen....we will succeed in this mission anyway.....so don't make a big deal out of it.....just try your best.
Zet then kissed her on her cheek.
Zet : I know you got this.
Kipo sighed, she then turned into her wolf form, she howled to get the wolves out of their caves.
Wolves came out of the cave and started surrounding them, there were a lot of them.
An alpha stepped forward, Kipo started talking to him.
Kipo : stop.....we came in peace.
Alpha : what are you doing here ?
Kipo : we just want to talk.
Alpha : you come to our home....and with her.....and you come in peace ?
Kipo : she's not here to fight.
Alpha : well she must be here to die then.
Kipo : we're here to ask you to leave her village alone.
The wolves started laughing.
Alpha : and why would we let this monster get her wishes ?
Kipo : monster ?
Alpha : she hasn't told you why we are enemies huh ?
Niora : what are they saying ?
Zet : no idea.....this is one of her abilities....she can talk to any animal.
Alpha : she killed 21 of us.....and took out my brother.....an Alpha.
Kipo : but you killed her people too.
Alpha : what are you talking about ?...we never hunt humans.....your flesh is not even that good....when a human comes to us we consider it as a served meal.
The wolves started chuckling loudly.
Kipo : so you didn't kill humans ?
Alpha : we don't kill humans that don't trespass our home.....which is what you are doing right now.
Kipo : excuse me for a second.
Kipo then turned back to her human form and turned around to Niora.
Kipo : Niora....is there something you're not telling us about your history with these guys ?
Niora : what did they say ?
Kipo : they said that you attacked them first.....they said that they don't hunt humans.
Niora : well how the hell do they explain coming to my village to attack us every once in a while ?
Alpha : you came to us first !.....you killed our pack and walked away !.....of course we won't let get away with it !
The Alpha started to get angry, he started growling, and so his pack follows.
Zet : this is slowly getting out of hand.
Zet's hands started glowing.
Niora : what are they saying Kipo ?
Kipo : they say that you came to them and killed them.....so they attacked in return.
Niora : they killed my people !
Alpha : and you killed mine !...that's It !....we're having humans for dinner tonight !
The alpha howled loud and clear.
Kipo's eyes widened.
Kipo : guys ?
Niora : fight it is !
Zet : finally.
Niora and Zet summoned their weapons as the wolves started coming closer to them
Zet : Kipo !.....we're done talking !.....time to fight !
Kipo then turned to her wolf form, she didn't want to do this, but she has to.
The wolves started attacking them from every angle, Zet and Niora started fighting them, as they defend they were causing injuries to the wolves, but Kipo was only defending.
As the wolves were attacking, they were hitting Zet and Niora, but They were dying one by one, Niora's eyes started glowing alongside her hair.
Niora : Zet !
Zet looked at Niora, he then ran at her she launched him in the air, he then aimed his knives at the ground.
Zet : Kipo !.....Jump !
Kipo saw him and Jumped before he hit the ground, making a ground shock and zapping everyone, all the wolves fell on the ground, they were stunned.
Kipo then changed back.
Kipo : now is our chance to run !
Zet : no....we have to end them all !
Kipo : Zet please.....let's just leave.
Zet : aww fine.....Niora....let's go !
They started running away and the wolves got up.
Alpha : HUNT THEM DOWN !
The wolves started running behind them, Kipo looked behind her.
Kipo : they're still on us !
Niora : that's it !....Kipo !....get behind us !...Zet !....let's give them a storm !
Kipo : no !....you'll hurt yourself !
Zet : don't worry !....we have a better way to do this !
Zet and Niora stopped and faced the wolves coming at them, Kipo kept running until she was behind them.
They started glowing, eyes hair and hands, they summoned a huge amount of energy.
Niora : ready !?
Zet : this is going to hurt !
Niora used her powers to lift every one of them in the sky, while Zet used his powers to zap them in the air, but the Alpha was not going to give up this easily, while all his pack was dying, he wasn't going to die without taking one of them out, he used the wind to launch himself straight at Kipo, Zet saw him, he tried to zap him, but he missed.
Zet : KIPO !
Kipo then looked up, she saw him jumping straight at her, she immediately changed her hand into a claw and punched the Alpha in the mouth as he was coming at her with a rapid speed, which caused the Alpha to lose his skin as he died, his body turned into a splash of blood that dropped at all of them.
They killed all the wolves.
Niora : there we go.
Zet : well that wasn't as hard as we thought.
Niora : we make a pretty good team I guess.
Zet : yeah.
Niora and Zet then fist pumped.
They looked at Kipo.
Niora : not bad Kipo.....feels good doesn't it ?
Zet : good job Kipo...I think we're done with all of them.
They were all covered in blood top to bottom, Kipo was not proud of what she did.
Niora : see ?.....we're all safe....we got out with some scratches.
Kipo was breathing heavily, but she didn't know why, until she felt that she was bleeding, Zet saw her.
Zet : Kipo ?
She then looked at her waist, she was bleeding a lot, she then collapsed on the ground due to the lack of blood.
Zet : Kipo !
Zet then carried her immediately and started flying back to the village as fast as he could, Niora followed him.
After minutes, Zet reached the village and headed straight to Karen's house, he rushed through the door.
Zet : Karen !
Karen saw him, her eyes widened in fear, she emptied the table in front of her and he put her on it.
Zet : it's a wolf claw.....she's leaking a lot of blood.
Karen then looked at Ron and started talking to him.
Ron : on it !
Ron then came back with bandages and multiple jars.
Karen then gave Zet the bandages and talked to him.
Karen : once I'm done with this....use the bandages immediately.
Karen then took Kipo's shirt off and opened one of the jars, inside there was a bug, she used the bug to patch the wound, when she pressed on the bug and it started spitting string after she was done, she knocked on the table, Zet then applied the bandages, they were done.
Zet : will she be ok ?
Karen : it will take some time.....we're lucky that claw didn't reach her organs inside.....keep her exposed.....nothing should touch the string for an hour until it toughens....she needs to rest now.
Zet then carried her and exited Karen's house, Niora was waiting outside.
Niora : my room.
They headed to the main building.
After moments, Zet lied Kipo on Niora's bed.
Niora : is she ok ?
Zet was very worried, he didn't reply.
Mikayla and John then came in.
Mikayla : we saw her....is she going to be ok ?
Zet's eyes were widened in fear as he was looking at her, he didn't hear anyone, Niora saw him.
Niora : let's just give them time.
John : but....
Niora : just get out.
Niora then got out as she got Mikayla and John out with her and closed the door.
Niora : leave them alone.....I've never seen him that scared.....she'll be fine.
Mikayla : ok.....come on....you need to take a shower.....you're covered in blood.
2 hours later....
Kipo just woke up, Zet was waiting for her.
Kipo : mmmhm....
Zet : Kipo.....you're awake.
Kipo then raised her head.
Kipo : Zet ?
She then felt her waist hurting her.
Zet : it's ok it's ok.....you're safe.
Kipo : what happened ?
Zet : you got injured and passed out because you lost a lot of blood.....Karen healed you.
Kipo then looked at her waist, she saw that there is something on her that is patching her.
Kipo : what is that ?
Zet : it's something Karen uses.....don't touch it....it was string at first....but I took the bandages off.
Kipo : and where the hell is my shirt ?
Zet : It's all covered in blood and nothing was supposed to touch the strings until they toughen.
Kipo : can I move now ?
Zet : yeah....you can get up if you're able to.
Kipo then sat straight on the bed, Zet then hugged her, he started tearing.
Zet : you scared me.
Kipo : aww come on....it's just a scratch.
Zet : no....it's not...you were bleeding too much....I thought you were about to die.
Kipo then put her arms around him.
Kipo : it's ok.....I'd never die that easily.....I still have so much time to spend with you.
Zet chuckled.
Zet : come on....everyone is worried about you.....can you walk ?
Kipo : yeah....I think I can.
Kipo then tried to walk, but she couldn't, Zet caught her before she fell.
Zet : I got you.
They headed to the door, everyone they knew and cared about them was on the other side of that door, they opened it.
Niora : Kipo.
Kipo was surprised to see everyone.
Kipo : what are you all doing here ?
Roza : honey.....we're all worried about you.
Kipo then looked at everybody.
Kipo : I'm ok....thank you all.
Kipo then looked at Karen, she was smiling back at her, she then came closer to see the wound, she hugged her, she then talked to her.
Zet : she says that you'll be ok....the healing process worked perfectly.
Kipo : thank you....you saved my life.
Zet : she says that this cut was very dangerous....you could've been dead.
Kipo : yeah....I figured.
Zet : but.....she says that her healing was not the only reason why you survived.....it's because of how strong you are too.....you fought for your life.
Kipo : well....I couldn't leave this guy on his own....he needs me.
Zet then put his head on hers and started chuckling in happiness.
Zet : you're right.....I need you.
Karen smiled, she then talked to her.
John : we all are glad you're ok.....don't you scare us like that.
Kipo smiled and started tearing.
Niora : I guess now we can say Kipo is the Alpha of Alaska.
Zet : queen....queen of Alaska.
Mikayla : hey.....I'm right here.
They all laughed.
Niora : alright....why don't you two take a shower....you smell horrible.
Zet : no kidding....we're covered in blood.....hmm I wonder why ?
Kipo : alright....I didn't want to do it....but that Alpha was scary.....I think I just....blacked out.
Ron : so what happened exactly ?
Niora : well....we ended up fighting multiple wolves.....and one of the wolves jumped at Kipo from far away....SOMEONE.....missed his shot....and he was able to reach Kipo.....but she punched him as he was in the air.....he splattered all over us.
Zet : hey.....I didn't miss....we both couldn't get him in time.....it was your wind.
Jamil : wait wait....Kipo....is this true ?
Kipo : I'm sorry....I didn't want to...
John : what are you talking about....this is probably the most badass thing you ever did !
Everyone started cheering for her.
Zet : Kipo.....remember what was the first thing I taught you ?
Kipo : kill who wants to kill you first.
Niora : you did the right thing...I know I may have mistaken them too....but peace is not always the answer.....it's either us....or them.
Mikayla : now...because of what you three did....no one has to die eaten by wolves....and we won't have to worry about them anymore.
Niora : men's bathroom downstairs....and women's bathroom is here.....John....escort Zet....we'll take Kipo.
Zet then left Kipo's shoulder and gave her to Niora.
Kipo : um.....Karen ?....how long will this string stay ?
Karen talked.
Zet : oh ok....great....I thought she will have it for a long while.
Kipo : yeah me too.....wait what did she say ?
Everyone chuckled.
Zet : she says that it will stay for about a week....until your body regenerates itself.
Kipo : will it leave a scar ?
Karen nodded.
Kipo : aww great....
Zet : hey....what's wrong with having scars ?.....it's achievements printed on your body.
Niora : or your most stupid moments.....
Zet : alright.....fine.
Niora and Mikayla came in with Kipo to help her, while Zet went with John and Jamil.
John : Jamil....how is my outfit going ?
Jamil : it will be done soon....we just had to stop working to come today.
John : no no it's ok.....I was just asking.
Zet : actually....I have an Idea for you John.
John : I'm listening.
Zet : so Jamil....how many customers do you usually get ?
Jamil : not much....our services are expensive and you can tell why....we work hard on it and the results are never worse than the best.
John : wow...is this your logo ?
Jamil : yup.
Zet : so my Idea is that since you will be the king.....how about you make royal services.
John : I absolutely have no idea what's that.
Zet : it means that you will have a royal dresser.
Jamil : are you talking about me and Roza ?
Zet : yeah.....we know that you're the best shop for clothes in the whole village.....you take care of him and Roza will take care of Mikayla and maybe future royal members.
John : actually....I like this Idea.
Jamil : and we'd be honored to serve the royalty.
John : ok....I'll see what I can do about it.....it might take a while but you'll end up living here.
They have reached the bathroom.
John : here....you'll have everything you need inside.
Zet got in as john and Jamil left.
Kipo just got in the bathtub.
Kipo sighed from getting comfortable.
Kipo : finally.....I haven't had an actual bath since I was in my burrow,
Mikayla : what's a burrow ?
Kipo : a huge hole that we built our life in under the ground.....Niora....did you get any injuries ?
Niora : they're just scratches.....same with Zet....we're fine.
Kipo : you make an amazing team with him.
Niora : we have nature elements powers.....we can use them together whenever we need to and it's pretty powerful.
Kipo : man I wish I can do something with my powers and his.....if he touches me with his powers I get shocked.
Mikayla : Kipo.....I want to ask an awkward question.
Kipo : sure.....go ahead.
Mikayla : why are we here with you instead of Zet ?
Niora : oh....yeah that's awkward as hell...
Kipo : Zet is an asexual.....a biromantic asexual.....he loves me....but he has no interest in anyone's body.....and he doesn't let anyone look at his body either.

Kipo : what am I supposed to do ?.....he gets grossed out from seeing anyone with no clothes on.
Niora : honestly....I don't want to say anything because I'm probably clueless about this....but I feel like I should.....did you ever look at him ?
Kipo : no....I'm trying my hardest to not to...one time he needed to get some fish for Aya....he had to jump in a frozen lake to get them.
Niora : and when you need to jump in a frozen lake.....you have to be naked.
Mikayla : wait....why ?
Niora : your clothes don't get dry in the cold weather.....they freeze.
Kipo : he asked me to turn around and not look until he's done.....we weren't together then but even if we were he would do the same thing...my whole face was literally red.....I didn't look but it was so hard.
Niora : well I think I know a small way....it might work or might not.....but you need to try.
Kipo : it's better than nothing.....what do you got ?
Niora : maybe he's a Demisexual but he doesn't know....maybe all he needs is a strong connection with you.
Mikayla : that might work.
Kipo : what better connection can I make with him ?.....he's literally ready to die for me at anytime.

Kipo stopped in realization.

Niora : quick question....how old are you ?
Kipo : I'm 14.....next month is my birthday.
Mikayla : that means it won't be long till you start needing this.
Niora : and even from the perspective of a lesbian.....you won't last long with not doing anything with his body.
