Monday morning at school Jessica is waiting for Ann against her locker.

Ann notice Jessica and a frown creep up her face.

“What do you want?” Ann asks, still angry at Jessica’s betrayal from last week.

“I need your help. I have to find Wayne.”

“Loverboy has left town and they are not coming back,” Ann slams her locker close and walks away.

“I can smell a vampire on you, and it is not someone I have met before,” Jessica says, making Ann stop in her tracks.

“What do you want with Wayne,”

“I want to un-mate, all I think about is him and I need to break the bond as soon as possible. Did he say where he is going?”

“No, but Shysie said they are going to the higher council. But you don’t believe in all this nonsense, now do you?” Ann asks sarcastically.
