Chapter 5- Sudden Encounter

The meeting at the conference room has began, half of the knights are gathering inside including Amethyst.

"I called all of you because His Majesty, the King tasked us to retrieve a big amount of salt that was taken by the barbarians."

When the King of Edessa ordered his people, no matter what the task says, when the word 'barbarians' are listed on it, meaning the knights should spare no one. Barbarians are considered evil people in the Kingdom of Edessa, for them they only bring war and badluck. So while it's still early, they must be destroyed.

"We will take routes that will make our trip faster. So that when we were ahead of them, we will ambush them." While instructing every detail of their plan, on of the knights interrupted him.

"Commander Adelard, will the archeress be of any help in this task? She don't even know how to use a sword."

"Indeed, the archeress would be a big of help. We will need someone who was confident enough to hit the target bulls eye when we make our trap." He said while turning his gaze to her.

Amethyst returned his gaze to her. She felt goosebumps when she realize that she's going to have her first ever task in her second day.

'What am I gonna do? I haven't practice enough...what if I fail' she nervously think 'they are going to blame me if I fail the operation'

"Ms. Eve, are you fine with that?"

"Y-yes?...ah y-yes I'm fine with that Commander Adelard."

They discussed their operation and what snape to be used till evening, after that the dinner is served at the dining area. A long table full of different kinds of nourishment, bread and wine. She sat and began to eat, she was distructed because of the knights loud chattering.

"Don't mind them Eve, they are like that everyday and everynight so you'll get used to it." Daniel arrived then eat beside her.

"I don't think I can do my part on the operation."

"What are you talking about? You're good at it, everyone saw your shot this morning."

"I know but, I haven't do something like this in my entire life."

"Well, when you do it once it won't be difficult the next time. Since we really need your skill in this operation."

She just lower her head in concern and continue eating. The knights began to drink their wine and when she noticed that they are being restless she stepped out of the dining area.

She thought to take a walk outside the castle to digest her food when she hears a small crackle in the bushes, she took her bow and arrow from the back of her shoulder and pointed it to where the crackle was heard. She took a step forward slowly to see what's in the bush when a white long smoke-colored fur and extremely beautiful cat was crawling underneat it.

'Oh right. It's just a cat' then she placed her bow back to her shoulder

"Hi pretty, what are you doin' there huh?" She bend her knees to pet the cat, It has a golden collar with a name on it.

'Isabel? Hahaha...how cute'

She smiled and slightly laugh thinking how does a person think such a cute name for a cute cat.

While petting the cat she noticed that her short walk brought her near the training area. A mild thumping sound can be heard out of it, as she walked slowly towards the door.

A faint growl was increasing to a loud moan, It's dark so she was sure that nobody would be there. She peeked between the doors to see what was inside. A woman lying her face and body over the table as the tall and black haired man still thrusting into her from behind.

"Ahh!...agh!"

The woman was moaning as Amethyst don't have any idea if it hurts her or not. Her eyes widened when she saw what's happening, the man still thrusting into the woman in the dark while he catches his breath. Amethyst stiffened from her pace and felt cold sweat formed on her back, the man looked at her with its bright golden eyes and smirk at her while continuing what he was doing.

'Commander Adelard?'

She returned to her senses and then run back to her room as fast as she can.

'Is it Commander Adelard? or I'm just hallucinating?' She said in her mind while catching her breath, she's trembling as if she were being chased.

"Ahh!...faster C-commander Adelard...I-I'm coming."

Phoenix hurriedly thrust in and out on her cave, as he was going to release his viscous white fluid for the nth time he withdrew his manhood and splashed it to her buttocks.

"Agh...you're still good at this Commander Adelard" the woman said while fixing her dress and stood up.

She hug Phoenix and lean her head to his broad chest.

"You know I don't like this kind of thing Lady Cameron." He grabbed her shoulder and removed her body from his embrace carefully, the smile on her face faded as she remembered what kind of man he is.

Lady Olivia Cameron is the daughter of Marquess Theodore and Marchioness Sylvia of Iris City in the Eastern border. She's been Phoenix's bed partner for a while and she had already fallen inlove with him but she didn't make it obvious because Lady Cameron knew what he was going to do with her, Phoenix would break their tie and never see each other again. She don't want that to happen that's why she's been away for a couple of weeks to ease her feeling.

Phoenix find her attractive because of her beauty and flawless white skin, her sexy body figure was outstanding. But that's that, he just see her as a bed partner and not a lover. He wasn't the one to fall inlove in a woman, his nature is to pleasure them and himself.
