It is already dawn but she can't sleep due to what she saw last night.

'Why do I have to see such a sexual intercourse? Now I can't sleep because of that.' She said, covering her eyes while thumping his foot on her bed.

'Arg...focus Amy, focus. It doesn't seem like he recognize you peeking at the door' She stood up and wear her training attire.

At the training area she arrive first as usual and practice her archery, then when the sun has risen one by one arrive. While they are busy practicing, they didn't even notice Phoenix has arrive and went to his area opposite to her.

Daniel approached Amethyst and saying something but he can't hear it so he was just staring at them.

"...mmander Adelard, are you listening to me?" Apollo said and Phoenix got back to his sense.

"Ah...what, what were you saying?"

"I said that the trap we will be using tomorrow are ready" he just nodded to Apollo and raised his hand gesturing him to leave.

Phoenix spend his hours taking a look at her as she pointed her bow to her target every minute and she always hit the centre of it.

'I can't say that she's not capable at archery.'

Dinner has began, Phoenix stood up from his seat giving a reminder on what was going to happen tomorrow while wandering his eyes as he looked at Amethyst at the other table.

"Prepare yourselves tomorrow as we will face no ordinary people. Take your time to eat and rest after, we will leave at dawn."

"Yes, Commander Adelard." They all respond happily then Phoenix sat and continue eating.

Phoenix got up from his bed and wear his metal armor, at his back there's a golden cape indicating that he's the Commander. Outside the castle all of them are preparing their horses and saw Amethyst wearing the archeress outfit.

'It made her look good.'

He walk towards her as her horse was a bit tall and she can't place her foot to the stirrup.

"Let me help you." He offered his hand to her and she gladly accept it.

"Thankyou Commander Adelard." She said awkwardly while bowing her head, Phoenix turn around when his eyes curved.

They leave the Citadel City before the sun has risen, Phoenix lead them into their route not taking a glance at her at the back. They set the trap that will be use to the barbarians, when they arrive, Amethyst will shot her arrow to the rope and let it fall to the group of barbarians then the ambush start.

"The front row will hide from the back because more barbarians will be left behind the trap. Second row at the middle and then third row at the front" As Phoenix was done commanding them, they hide to their designated area.

The sun was about an hour or two before it set when they finally arrive. A group of barbarians with a huge figure riding on their horses and pulling a carriage on them filled with large amount of salt. When they were at the front of the trap Amethyst began to release her arrow.

Shoot!

She hit the rope perfectly as if it's so easy to do that. The barbarians that were caught in the trap fell on their horses.

"Ambush!!"

One of the barbarians shouted and the Phoenix Elite began to drew their sword and fought with them. Amethyst pull an arrow from her shoulder and began to shoot the barbarians in their chest. The sound of clanging from their sword filled the area and some of the barbarians head was cut off.

Amethyst noticed that one of the barbarians were about to sneak behind holding his sword from above to Phoenix and ready to attack him.

"Watch out!!" As she shouted at him, Phoenix look at her and then lower his body for her to shoot her arrow.

When she released her arrow it landed on the barbarians forehead and then fell on the ground, dead. Phoenix continued to fought as if nothing happened and Amy did the same thing.

The sun has already set when all the barbarians are dead. They claimed the carriages full of salt and then find a flat surface for them to camp for the evening.

"Lets set up our tents here. Tomorrow at dawn we will depart on our way home."

The knights set their tents and the other are preparing food to eat. Amy got off from her horse, tied its reign to the trunk of the tree near the grass and gave water to it.

"Wow Eve, you're so amazing today. You hit the rope of the trap perfectly and you shot the barbarian who was going to kill Commander Adelard." Daniel praised while walking towards her.

"I didn't do much you know. I'd be grateful if I handle a sword too."

"Why? You are so good at archery. And besides you save Commander Adelard."

"..."

"You know all of us turn our eyes to you when you shout and then shot that barbarian's forehead."

"..."

"Ah do you have a tent to rest into? If you want, you can rest on my tent."

"No I'm fine Daniel...I can rest beside that tree." She said then pointed her eyes to where her horse was tide.

"Come on, accept my offer. It's not like I'm going to do something to you."

Amy laughed at his speech and then nodded her head. While removing her horse's saddle, a sight of tray with soup and bread on it was handed to her in front of her, when she lift her head to whom who was holding it, it was Phoenix.

"Eat."

"Pardon?"

"It's because you saved my life today. I'm just repaying you." He said with his usual cold voice.

"Ah, thanks Commander Adelard but you don't have to do this. I just did what I have to do, that's not equivalent of you saving my life at the auction house."

"So...are you refusing what I'm trying to give you?"

Amy felt a cold sweat forming on her back when he said that like he was going to devour her.

"It's not like that Commander..." Phoenix took her hand before she could continue what she was going to say and place there the tray he was holding.

"By the way...where are you gonna rest tonight?"

"Y-yes?...ah I'm going to rest at... Daniel's tent."
