In the old days, tales of heroes and gods were simply regarded as myth. They were stories that only entertained and inspired.

A Tale of Adventure

"Sarah's right. We should try looking on the positive side." Alex expressed his own sentiments. However, his face did betray a subtle moment of confliction. "Though this might be focusing on the wrong reasons, I am at least a little glad that the one who completed the quest happened to be an adventurer. This might come to help improve our standing amongst the other guilds." 


A higher standing meant that, in the future, there would be more profitable quests for them to subjugate and earn a living. So long as the guild's management marketed this event correctly, they could be witnessing some new beneficial changes. 


Though Alex also didn't appreciate the attitude of those who made the contribution, considering that his main goal was to support his declining family, he was willing to temporarily put up with it.
