Working On New Modifications (Part 2)

For the usual magic item, enchantments would often be cast on the object as a whole. Otherwise, if even one section were to remain isolated from the rest during the enchanting process, the resulting product wouldn't achieve an optimal quality, which was sometimes the common cause leading to functional failure. Meanwhile, when applying subsequent enchantments, it was essential that they sustain a harmonized state aligned with the previous ones; this will prevent any incongruent errors that could destabilize the overall performance.

The above was a fundamental rule consistently taught and reinforced throughout the entirety of Leo's attending years in Halo Academy. However, during the conception of Mercury, Leo had unexpectedly betrayed this tradition. Rather than enchanting the entire vehicle to confer it different features, he instead employed an unusually unique approach that would have elicited disapproval from almost every professional enchanter.
