The Sorting

Ashlynn stood up quickly, pointing her wand at Harry and disarmed him. She caught his wand with her free hand. 'Hmm… it does work.'

Harry looked at her in shock. 'What was that for! I am your brother! I'm the boy-who-lived!'.

Ashlynn looked at him. 'You know… I just wanted to try out the spell I just read about. And you were in the position.'. She smiled at him. SWEETLY. Then grabbing her books, she threw Harry's wand to the floor and went out of the compartment. Then, Harry picked up his wand. His face red with embarrassment and was about to Hex her. Ashlynn turned to him. She stood there looking at Harry's eyes, not afraid of his wand pointed at her. She said slowly with an icy voice. 'Don't you even dare…' She left.

The train arrived. Everyone got out. The first years followed Hagrid to the huge castle.

They entered the great hall. Many students and professors were staring at Harry. Harry noticed this and was gloating. Ashlynn saw Professor Snape and nodded her head to greet him.

Snape looked at the girl. She was in a far better condition than a few weeks ago. He nodded his head in return.

The sorting finally began and it was Harry Potter's turn. The hat called Gryffindor right away. After a few more students were sorted into their houses, Ashlynn's name was called. Many looked at her curiously. They hadn't known that Harry Potter AKA the boy-who-lived had a sister.

Ashlynn walked gracefully up the podium and sat down. The sorting hat was placed on her head and started to talk.

'Hmm… I didn't know there was another Potter. Now let's see… yes… you have some mind there. You'd fit in Ravenclaw. But you're not a hufflepuff. No loyalty… Why is that?'

'How can I be loyal when there's no one to even trust..?'

'Valid point. Then let's look at your courage… hm.,. Not much but I do see some. But slytherin, oh yes..: you'd be perfect there. SLYTHERIN!!!'

As Ashlynn walked to the slytherin's table, people muttered. Harry was glaring at her and whispering to Ron that he knew Aslynn was a slimy snake. Not even the Slytherins cheered. They knew she was the sister of the-boy-who-lived. She ignored Harry as he looked shocked and angry. She could hear him cursing at her.
