Chapter 12: Back to Work

As per Mia's request to Kevin, Viewbay released an official statement regarding Mia's comeback to the industry, as per Mia they have indicated that she had a long vacation and was still contributing to the company. Viewbay also confirmed that Mia will also be contributing to Starlight and will be working again at HGN.

With the released official statement, the following days have been peaceful but busy for Mia, true to her words Patrick Fraust indeed grabbed her offer and made her one of Starlight's contributor, it is not against her will to do it. It wasn't something that she thought would work out but gladly it did.

She needs to do something at Starlight anyways.

"I need to get used to this busy schedule again" 4 years of being a freelancer had been manifesting its negative effect for Mia, her body isn't use to waking up early and moving much.

She is currently preparing for her fist day at HGN again, her section chief gave her an earful yesterday about being on a vacation for that long, and she went AWOL for 3 months before handing in a formal Indefinite Leave Request to HGN's HR. The network understood her without asking for a reason but her Section Chief, Blake Trent really love to give her the warmest welcome and instructed her to report at 6 in the morning.

"He didn't change at all" She just sighed and finished her preparations

Terrence had been feeling really light and happy these past few days. Working again with Mia like before have really gave their group a positive effect.

Every single one of them are once again enthusiastic on every performance that their fans even the media is taking notice.

Some of their songs that was produced by Mia are once again climbing the charts and the have a lot of music shows and variety shows are asking for their appearance. Even commercials and magazine photoshoots.

Because Mia's going back to work at HGN, they also started to accept other schedules other than the preparation for the album.

They are actually ahead on their preparations. After their first meeting they have finalized the album line up and decide to make a full album out of all the demos that Mia created. They finished recording the first three songs that they will vote on as the album's title track.

"Terrence, I can't come with you today on your photoshoot, will you be fine alone?" Argon took a peek in his room as he was preparing to leave for his photoshoot. He needs to be at the location by 6 in the morning.

"I'll be fine, I'll just take the car with me" It will be easier to take a car that take a taxi.

"Alright, just be home by 7pm," Argon reminded him again before he left the house.

Terrence and Mia both went out of their apartments, As Mia reached the bottom of the stairs she had locked eyes with Terrence who is currently opening the door of his car.

Mia just greeted him good morning which woke Terrence up to reality. 'I need to get used to seeing her again' "Good Morning!" Mia just also nodded in acknowledgement.

"Are you already going to work?"

"Yeap"

"I can drop you of then"

"Nah, I can manage, go along" Mia just went on her way and left Terrence.

'Baby steps Terrence, baby steps'

That was the longest conversation they had in 4 years without bickering or the other one walking out, an achievement on Terrence end.
