Chapter 13: Concerns

Terrence arrived at the location of his photo shoot earlier than his call time. He was then welcomed by the company's president himself, he's been an ambassador for this sport's line since they debut.

"AH! Terrence you are early!" giddily said by Madam Hera "Of course Madam Hera, I don't want to keep everyone waiting"

Madam Hera then called all the staffs to get him ready for the photo shoot.

"It's really early" Mia said as soon as she arrives at HGN annex building, All of the Technical People and equipment resides here also the recording studios where most of the sound engineers are holding office.

Mia then entered their mess hall and as soon as she opened the lights

"WELCOME BACK!" all of her colleagues are present at this early time, she couldn't help but feel warm and very welcomed.

"Yes, I am back" she said with so much joy and approached everybody.

Blake then come from behind and started to introduce everybody to Mia including the new hires when she was on leave

After all that chaotic but warm welcome by the whole Engineering Department, Blake have called on Mia to his office

"I know you have your personal reason why you have to take that leave and I won't ask you what it is but what I ask of you is for that to never happen again Mia." Blake stated in a very serious way.

It was indeed a very bad decision and very unprofessional of her to do that. Being on leave for 4 years is not anyone will approve of, she's just lucky that the management decide that she is still worthy to keep.

"I promise that it won't happen again" Mia then look at Blake's eyes with conviction then Blake's eyes soften at Mia and just sighed at defeat. "Now, you still won't have any programs to be assigned on, man the recording studios and do the afternoon news programs, any disagreement?" Blake again looked at Mia and immediately shook her head "None sir" she said.

"You may take your leave" Mia then just bowed her head and left.

"You're finally back to where you belong my child" Blake just turned his swivel chair and laughed.

"Okay good! Great! Just keep posing! Keep at it! And that's a wrap!" the photographer had just wrapped up their shoot and everyone is packing up.

"Thank you" Terrence then approached the photographer and bid him farewell.

As he entered the dressing room, Madam Hera then called him "Terrence. Can I talk to you for a second?" He then obliged and sit down in front of Madam Hera "What is it Madam?"

"Is Mia really working again with you? Is she going to perform again?" Madam asked with full concern

"Yes she is currently working with us but she haven't said to us if she's going to perform again in public but she have already return to HGN" He stated the situation with Madam Hera.

"Did you already cleared up your misunderstanding with her?" Terrence just lowered his head with that question. They have been closely working together but he can't brought it up to her, he is afraid, yes afraid that if things go wrong again he might lose her again. He just can't risk it right now.

"Not yet madam, not yet" and then looked at Madam Hera, He can see the concern in her eyes "You know that sooner or later, you have to face the truth with her" He knows it very well, all of them.

"Yes, but right now I just want to be happy for a little bit. Everyone is happy with her being with us again" It is true, and everyone around them can see that clearly.

"I can see it, your photo shoot today is a clear manifestation" Madam Hera then smiled at Terrence then bid him goodbye "Well I should get going, I'll see you at the product launch Terrence"

"Thank you Madam" He smiled at Madam Hera as she went out the door.

'I know that I can't let the situation as it is, Mia deserves the truth, she have suffered enough' Terrence thought to himself. Guilt is once again engulfing him.
