Chapter 51: Consequences

After Argon dragged Kevin away from HGN, Ysa then entered her studio.

"Are you alright?" Ysa's eyes are full of concern and fear, "I'm fine Ysa, they have let me sleep and rest for the whole day, I just didn't expect to deal with Kevin today" then Mia sat down at her chair,

her head is starting to hurt when she was talking to Kevin earlier. She needs to calm down.

"Do you want to file a restraining order? I can let our lawyers at Constellation handle that" Mia doesn't want to take things that far, she was just hoping that this wouldn't ever happen again. Mia just shook her head.

"I think Argon can handle his brother just fine, If ever he comes back again to pester me, I'll go with the restraining order. Did you sign the deal with Starlight?" Mia already know that Ysa was supposed to finalize everything today, after recording their final song tomorrow, it will only a matter of days then they could release Luna's 5th Anniversary album.

"We will just finalized the legalities then we will sign with them, I also talked to Argon regarding Luna's activities for the next few days, he already talked to Starlight, they are just waiting for Viewbay's announcement regarding Luna's departure then they will also sign with Starlight.

Mia just nodded with the information that Ysa told her, "I'm sorry if you're having a hard time for the

past 4 years Ysa."

During the past 4 years that they are both working together, she knows that there are times that Ysa was already having a hard time but she have been a professional and keeps her head cool and towards their goal, if it wasn't because of her, constellation wouldn't exist today, she won' be existing today.

"I did everything because I wanted to, you didn't force me into anything, don't worry" then Ysa just smiled at her.

By the time that they have finished talking, Lance then entered Mia's studio to check if Mia's doing fine, "I just want to check if your okay" then he handed over a paper bag containing food for her, "I didn't see you at the cafeteria at lunch so I brought you some, I was looking for you in the meeting early in the morning for the program but Blake told me that you are busy"

Ysa was the one who accepted the paper bag on Mia's behalf, she as clearly trying to hide her giddiness on Lance's thoughtfulness on Mia,

"Thank you, Lance... I'll be catching up with you tomorrow for the show's requirements" then she grabbed the paper bag in Ysa's hands "thank you for this".

"I guess I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Yup, I'll see you tomorrow" then Lance waved at her goodbye then left the studio.

On the other hand, Ysa finally released her giddiness and started to hit the chair, she can't contain it, she can feel the tension between the two of them and they really suit each other.

"Mia, if you and Terrence won't work out, I suggest that you take a chance with the Evil PD" then she walked in front of Mia, "You see, you guys can be the perfect couple, you both work at the industry,

he might be good looking but he is working behind the scenes with you, no one would try to get in

between you too if ever you guys you know" then she squeaked like a little kid given the best gift.

"You and your imagination, I'm dying remember?" Ysa can only pout at Mia's response, "Do you really have to spoil the mood?" then she placed her hands on her waist "and who said that you will die? Whether you like it or not, You will still live for a very long time" Mia just laughed at Ysa's

actions, she is really thankful having her in her life, having a friend like her makes everything light

and positive.

Right after Ysa finished her dialogue she received a call from Maurice.

"Maurice, what's up?"

"Viewbay already released an announcement regarding Luna's status and departure from their company"

Mia and Ysa both looked at each other, both of them are hoping that Kevin won't do anything funny again. They just all want to move on. Mia started searching on her phone and saw the released statement.

This is Viewbay Entertainment,

We are informing the public that idol group Luna have finally decided not to renew both their group and individual contracts with us, it was a shame that we will now part ways with the group after 7 years but we respect their decision and wish them good luck on their future endeavors

"I think we can now proceed as planned" they can also hear Maureen's happiness on the phone; finally, they have cut off their connection with Viewbay.

Mia then called the others to inform them, she dialed the number on their residence,

By then, the guys have already known the announcement; Kevin himself called them and informed them of his decision. It was also a relief to them that they can now finally be a group again and start a new.

All of them knew that this is just the beginning but they are already filled with happiness.

Argon also called Ysa that he will be meeting Patrick again later tonight.

"I think it will be better for all of us to meet with Patrick with the contract signing, he informed that he got the contracts ready for Luna" Argon then also paused for a long time, "What's the matter brother?" Ysa got curious and asked for Argon's sudden silence.

"Great Records, took Viewbay. Kevin just received the news from Timmy, starting tomorrow Viewbay will be a subsidiary company of Great Records." Ysa also falls into silence.

"I'll inform Mia of the news" then Ysa dropped the call.

"What is it?" it was evident on Ysa's face that something is wrong, enough reason for Mia to ask.

"Great Records acquired Viewbay, starting tomorrow, they will be a subsidiary company of Great Records, and Kevin also lost his company"

Mia might have an ill fated relationship with Kevin but she cherish Viewbay and the people that she have worked with in that agency, she just wanted to part ways with it but she didn't want this to happen but it was a path that Kevin decided to take.

"We can't do anything about it, it was something that is bound to happen" sometimes we just have to face the consequence of our actions.
