Suicidal

Chapter 44: Suicidal

The very next morning, Mia reported to work, she already missed 4 days worth of work and she knows that she might get a memo from the HR Department if she won't show up to today.

Thankfully, Blake knows her situation and decided to place her on the recording studio as her assignment that day.

"Florence already called me yesterday and he was most certain that you will show up today so you better stay still on the recording studio today and rest" then he patted her head like a father.

At times like these, Mia was envelope by a warm feeling; it becomes a motivation for her to push through her treatments and medications. After seeing how Ysa cried a river last night, gave her a glimpse of what is going to happen if everybody knew what happened to her.

"Thank you so much" then she weakly smiled at Blake. Her head is still spinning and her body is also in pain.

"I have already cleared your schedule for your next treatment next month so just go please" Florence is Blake's younger brother, that's why her supervisor knew her situation. It was also Florence who called Blake about Mia's situation.

"Just remember that your health should always be your priority." She can feel that Blake is concerned about her, but she can also feel the pity in his words.

Anyone who knows her story would really feel pity towards her. She did too, there are times that she just wanted to stop the world or just disappear but she would always remind her of the genuine people around her that loves her and she loves.

After those series of devastation given to her, she already wanted to give up. She wanted to end every thing.

Mia was put on hiatus without notice, she knew it was coming, but she never thought that Kevin would still dare to touch Constellation after his scheme on Terrence.

That was the start.

Mia was a loud person but never the type to voice out her feelings; in her whole life she never encountered a situation like this, maybe the reason why she can't voice out her feelings is because she doesn't need to.

She waited for Terrence to check up on her, heck she even begged the heavens but no, not even his shadow. She doesn't want to bother anyone after days of crying until Max found her.

Crying wasn't even helping her anymore

It wasn't even easing the pain even a little bit. It was just constant pain for days. It was like seeing her life drifting away from her hands like sand being blown away by the wind.

All that she could think was how to end the pain that she was feeling.

No matter how hard she prayed and begged the heavens to remove her pain, it's no avail. She felt the pain intensifies even more, so she decided to let go of everything.

That afternoon, she went and visited Constellation. It was her dream and it was there right in front of her standing but right now, all that she could feel is that she have become a failure, she's feels so small, never in her whole life that she have ever felt like this.

The devastation had completely taken over her when Viewbay officially announced that they are cutting off Constellation and that she will be on hiatus without even consulting her.

Mia just wanted to see it for the last time 'At least I was able to make my dreams into reality for a short time' and just stayed there for God knows how long.

A lot of this have been going through into her head ever since the day that she overheard Kevin threatened Terrence, she started to question her decisions and started to regret that she decided to follow her dreams.

Her dreams at the expense of her closest friends.

All that she could feel right now was a numbing feeling scattering all over her system. She can't smile and laugh and staring to have a poker face. Her emotional response is starting to fade away.

Mia understood why people change, why some people have become what they have become because once thoughts starts running through your head, it becomes difficult to stop and counter it with positivity.

Because whatever it is you say to yourself, reality will always finds a way to remind you of the situation that are currently in.

Still standing in front of Constellation, Mia have let go of all her desires and feelings, she looked at the heavens one last time.

She know to herself that she is still looking for a bit of hope that she still wants to continue living but after losing everything and seeing the closest to her also lose their smiles and be live in pain because of her, she also lost all the will to live.

Seeing that the heavens won't even give her a sign, not even a ray of sunlight.

"Mia?" A familiar voice called her.

She froze in her place, she didn't think that she will be seeing someone she haven't seen in a while.

In this place.

In this time.

"Ysa"

The heavens didn't give her a ray of sunshine but instead someone that she knows she could trust.

It was like giving her another reason to go on.

If it wasn't for Ysa, she could have let herself go.

But it wasn't just the time yet.

She still need to do things and make sure that everything will be on its proper places before she leave everything behind.

Mia knows that she can't be greedy this time, but she was wishing for more time, even just a little bit.

"Mia?" she was awaken by a familiar voice.

Still dizzy from her treatment she slowly opened her eyes and saw a familiar silhouette but her head hurts too much to completely wake up.

"Terrence?"

Was the last word she said before passing out.

"She can't even recognize me" then Lance just fixed a blanket over her and let her sleep some more.

"I'll just talk to you when you recover" he said to Mia "you have to rest well princess"

Then Lance went out and called his mother "Mom, she's fine, Uncle Blake already let her rest"
