Ch 80 - Greatest Entrance Ceremony

"May the student Kang Dahsoo come up on stage please" said by Aegis with an amicable smile as Dahsoo was clearly startled from the sudden switch of focus but he instantly manage to calm down as some were impressed by that show of control as Dahsoo stood up and started to walk over the stage.

The students gave way for Dahsoo as he walk over to the stage with a relative amount of calm as Aegis nodded in appreciation for Dahsoo's bravery and compose nature until he finally reached the stage.

"Welcome student Kang Dahsoo" said by Aegis with a smile as he went for a handshake as Dahsoo was clearly surprised but accepted the handshake and smiled.

"Hello mister Aegis" said by Dahsoo with a smile, indicating his happiness at the moment.

"Mmm, sorry for this sudden request but may you give us a speech for your fellow peers and students" said by Aegis over the mic as he nodded.

"I- I'll try my best" said by Dahsoo with a resolute face as Aegis nodded and opened the mic.

"Mmm, as I was saying, this is Kang Dahsoo, the number one examinee from this year's entrance exam who showed, intelligence, wit, and bravery!" said by Aegis as clips of the entrance exam was played on the background as everyone clapped their hands.

"Now shall we let Kang Dahsoo give a speech for the opening ceremony" said by Aegis as he gave him the mic as he nodded and walked over to the middle of the stage while the light focused on him once more.

"... Eh herm... *deep breathe*, fwooh, hello there everyone, fellow students, old and new. You may know me as Kang Dahsoo, the top examinee of the entrance exam this year" said by Dahsoo as everyone cheered as he clearly gained more confidence as his eyes steeled with confidence.

"And you might also know me as the guy who made the ODM gear" said by Dahsoo as many chuckled from the crowd.

"This task of giving a speech was really a bit sudden but I'm going to give my best" said by Dahsoo with a smile as most of the students nodded in understanding.

"As you guys have seen from the videos all over the internet, my quirk is very simple, it's control over electricity" said by Dahsoo as sparks cackled around his arms while the students watch in anticipation.

"But you must be thinking, my quirk isn't simple from the videos you have seen, like for example, how did I create explosions?" ask by Dahsoo as the sparks around his arms turned into explosions as everyone was still surprised at that transition.

"I won't divulge too much info to the public as it might go to the villains but just imagine my quirk to be extremely unstable that with one slip of control, it will go boom" said by Dahsoo as a ball of electricity appeared on his hands that suddenly exploded.

"Now what does the explosion entails? It's simple, I use the flaws of my quirk to my advantage! I turned its unstable nature into a tool, simple right? It doesn't involve doing some complicated stuff or being talented, it's just a simple 1 + 1 = 2 puzzle" said by Dahsoo as many students clapped their hands as many gained inspiration with that simple explanation.

"But then what about my apparent psychokinesis? Or my control over lightning? Well, it's much more complicated than that, you might have been jealous at how diverse my power is right now but you did not see the blood, sweat, and tears I sacrifice to become this strong" said by Dahsoo as yellow projections made out of electricity appeared behind him showing him inside his basement controlling bolts and nails while drench in sweat.

"It took me months to make my psychokinesis this strong, it didn't appear out of nowhere, it's not like a genie just made me this strong, I made myself this strong" said by Dahsoo as the projection rapidly change from where he was struggling with bolts and nails to where he was controlling tables and chairs with ease.

"What I simply did to achieve this power is that I put in lots of hard work, so much that it might have been illogical to some of you, why did I "Above and beyond!" for what?" asked by Dahsoo as he made the illusion of him going super saiyan when he said "Above and beyond!" as the crowd chuckled at that bit.

"Why did I go over 9000! In an effort for what?" said by Dahsoo as he replicated the "Over 9000!" line with his voice as the crowd became riled up.

"It's not because of petty wealth!" said by Dahsoo as his voice started to get passionate along with the crowd as they waited in anticipation for what is to come.

"It's not because I wanted to impress people!" said by Dahsoo as his eyes started to glow while electricity cackled around him while Aegis made some distance from the stage.

"It's not because I wanted to be famous!" said by Dahsoo in a booming voice as they saw the electricity start to converge around him.

"It's because I wanted to be a HERO!" shouted by Dahsoo as a lightning strike struck out of nowhere as the appearance of a Titan made out of electricity was seen as the crowd shouted along with him.

"TATAKAE!!!" shouted by the Titan of electricity in a rumbling voice along with the crowd as electricity exploded out of the Titan as they all close their eyes and as they opened it, they saw a scene playing in front of the stage as two humanoid beings out of electricity were seen, one being red while the other blue as they saw one of the greatest shows they have seen in their life.

The two humanoid beings fought in a clash of unknown scale as they felt their heart thumping with each passing moment as a story was being made from the two beings' clashes.

The blue one was the Hero summoned to another world, hoping to defeat the Demon King.

The Hero lost his friends along the way as their hopes and dreams were pushed on to him with one resounding thought was left.

And that was to keep on fighting!

"PLUS ULTRA!" shouted by the humanoid being who was on the brink of defeat as it glowed yellow, gaining a surge in power as the Demon King was defeated in a single blow as the yellow humanoid made out of electricity dissipated into the air while the audience was left agape at what just happened.

"Huff, you're, gah, wel- puff, come" said by Dahsoo as the light was pointed at a figure sprawled on the ground drenched in sweat.

Soon, resounding cheers and claps were heard from the crowd as Dahsoo's body started to float in a green glow as Aegis walked up to the stage with a smile.

"Good job Dahsoo, you really gave quite the scene" said by Aegis while the mic was on as they heard Dahsoo's heavy breathing.

"No... problem... just remember to go above and beyond and never... give up" said by Dahsoo as his body was coated in a yellow light while he flew back onto his chair as Jinah gave him a bottle of water to drink.

AN: Now some of you might have fallen into a short genjutsu of mine and thought that I went bat shit insane and decided to just massacre the whole fucking school but nope, its just a show, like I love how lightning is correlated to transforming into a Titan so I could use it as a definite cliffhang- ... pretend that you didn't see that.
