As Salana rushed through the forest, she couldn't help thinking about Lyle's strange questions. What did he mean by the time passing differently? How could he not know how much time had passed? Did he somehow manage to get himself into trouble in that short space of time? It should be impossible, but then again, he said that it would be complicated to explain, which meant that there was a bigger story behind it. She didn't want to get too caught up in thinking about it, which was why she had told him he could explain it later, but at the same time, she couldn't help wondering about it.
