Ragnarok. Judgement Day. Titanomachy. Apocalypse.

The war that threatened the Universe's destruction got different names in different worlds. Still, the records of it existed in every mortal civilization and in the memory of Gods and Demons who survived to tell the tale.

Unlike mortals who have forgotten the mythical war, Gods and Demons who survived the war still remember the sacrifices of their close ones and the true dangers of the Outer Beings who crawled out from the Abyss to instil Chaos in the whole Void.

But even these mythical beings didn't know how and why, one day, the whole war suddenly stopped with the Abyss sealing its gates in every Universe. Many searched for the reasons, but legends say that those who ventured too far were swallowed by the Void.

After 10 billion years, the age when descendants of the Voids were enjoying their peaceful life, some strange Abyss Gates appeared in multiple places. And as if it was a precursor of a new age, Heroes of different kinds started appearing throughout the Void.

In Universe 10, a Mortal with an unknown helper became the Supreme God.

In Universe 7, a new branch of the Magic System was formed under a disowned scholar of magic who eventually became the new God of Magic.

In Universe 5, an Immortal Princess became the fabled Goddess of War and created the biggest empire in the Void.

As more and more heroes started appearing, the whole Void became a melting pot of changes, with new powers taking over the top swiftly. And amid this Chaos, two beings who could not decide upon the winner in their previous battle started waking up.

The unresolved fight which ended the Ancient War, the Abyss Gates which changed the whole power structure, and the Ancient Gods who went into hiding while sharpening themselves to take revenge against their mortal enemies; finally, after billions of years, all the required chess pieces for the game are ready.

This is the time to, once and for all, fight for the throne of the Void. This is the time to end what was started 14 billion years ago. This is the time to see who will come out on top, Pure Good and Evil or just Chaos.

This is the Final War of Void. This is the Myth of the Lord of the Void, which will be recorded in every fabric of the Void and Abyss for all the Eternity.

Lord of the Void

In 36 days, I published 40,000 words. Averaging more than 1000 words a day. And I am quite excited to reach this personal milestone.


At the same time, I will answer to some questions I got during this one month:


A1: Each chapter has average of 4000 words because of two reasons. First, they contain info dumps, some may frown on it but they were needed as it is beginning of the novel. For example, in Chapter 10 I could have skipped talking about Starlight Corporation and how it got in power. I could have gotten a side character to tell it, but it was needed here to show why there is a tension between our hero and his most loyal person who is loyal but sometimes do crazy things he did not call for.


Second, I am not a god who created the world and characters. I believe that I am more of a story teller and let them do the things they want to do. If Bai Changming likes to speak in carefree tone, he should be allowed to, he should not shorten his sentences with fancy words just because I like it shorter.


Of course, I will include only content relevant for the story. Even the vampire lord and monk in the prologue will appear in future. The games introduced in the beginning is a part of culture the world has and will impact the story with other cultural elements. In short, everything I included is for the story. Even I would not be interested in writing useless things here and waste my time.


And another bonus reason. I want to write chapters where story moves. Just like what I said above, I do not want to write useless things. Yes, I can distribute 5000 word chapter into 2-3 chapters but individually they would not help the story to move forward. In this very sense, this novel will be way different than others. You can get shorter or longer chapters which will be aiming to advance the plot. Many may not like it, but I want to honour more traditional novels where each chapter had a sense, a reason for their existence.


A2: Not specific. But you can expect to get 8000 words in a week. The ones who post 1500 words a day produce 10,500 words a week. I can too produce it, but this is my hobby not my work.


You can expect 2-3 2500+ chapters weekly. In total you will get at least 8000 words per week but I can also take hiatus for personal reasons or research purposes.


A3: It is my hobby; it is my release. While it may be good to earn something from it as it would show that I created something valuable here I will continue writing even if I do not contracted. Of course, in that case, I will post the novel to other sites and even produce a deluxe edited version of each volume and post it to Amazon. It will not be done to earn from it but to share it with as much people as possible and if I get contracted here, I may not be able to do that.


A4: In first volume romance may exist or not. It depends upon the characters not me. They have their own goals and ideas, I do not know how they will get together. For this, we all have to watch and see how their story unfolds.


Q5: Why there are grammatical mistakes?


A5: English is my second language. I am close to C2 level and got 111 in TOEFL recently. Meaning, that normally there would be only a few grammatical mistakes I forgot to edit in a chapter. And I also edit the chapters when I am not in the writing mood, so you can expect the grammar mistakes to be resolved in near future.
