AMETSA IS GONE

The next day Daniel just woke up from his sleep with a sitting position in a chair and half of his body leaning on the bed.

His brows furrowed as his hands moved to the wrists that he had been holding all night.

Until finally the man felt something strange and immediately Daniel looked up to see that there was no one on the bed making him immediately look around the room.

"Ametsa," Daniel called in his hoarse voice, "Where are you?"

Then Daniel stood up with his consciousness still not fully returned, the boy walked towards the balcony because he saw the glass door wide open, but when he got there he didn't see anyone there making his worries even bigger for the girl. that.

"It's just a dream, right?" muttered the man with one hand that had just slapped his cheek a little. "I was just talking to her last night, but it's impossible now... AMETSA!"

The man ran out of Ametsa's room while continuing to call her name in a voice that was loud enough in a house this big. He never thought that the girl would disappear like this and what annoyed him the most was that he was not told anything about the girl's sudden departure.

"AMETSA!" he called again with panting breaths due to running here and there to find one person in a house as big as this. "WHERE ARE YOU?! AMETSA!"

Because the panic that hit him first made Daniel forget something. The man immediately groped his trouser pocket before he finally chuckled and was forced to go back up the stairs to Ametsa's room because he left his phone there.

With the sound of the door being opened quite loudly by Daniel, the man immediately ran looking for his cellphone around the room until his eyes fell on an object that was familiar to him which turned out to be under his own feet.

Immediately his brow furrowed when he saw this and he felt that he had never dropped his phone since last night. He didn't know what had happened until even the girl left without telling him first.

Daniel chuckled before the man finally picked up his phone that had fallen on the floor and confirmed that there was nothing important in it.

"If this is what you want I will accept, but I can never stop caring for you. Because only you can change my life for the better."

After that, Daniel immediately sighed, at the same time the sound of the cellphone ringing made him immediately turn his attention to his phone screen.

At this moment both of his eyes saw a name printed on the screen of his cellphone which was no longer foreign to him.

Knowing this Daniel immediately answered the incoming call lazily.

"Hello, Mom, what's up?"

"Where are you?"

"I'm still at Ametsa's house, what's the matter?"

There was a sigh from the other side which made Daniel raise an eyebrow.

"Where's Ametsa?" the woman asked with a faint smile. "Mommy wants to talk to her."

Hearing this, Daniel immediately pinched the bridge of his nose for a moment with his eyes closed.

Then the man said, "That's Mom, I don't even know where she is now." His eyes were looking straight at the balcony with a look on his face that was hard to describe.

"What do you mean?" asked the woman with a furrowed brow. "Didn't you just say that you were still at her house, how can you talk like that? What happened?"

Daniel's eyes immediately closed imagining how frustrated the man was because he was worried about his best friend who doesn't know where at this time.

Silence ensued with Meyra who felt that her son was hiding something.

"Daniel," the woman called.

The man who realized it immediately cleared his throat and then said, "Yes Ma," he answered.

"What's wrong with you?" she asked. "Don't try to hide anything from me, okay?"

To be honest, Daniel didn't know what else to say to the woman, so he was now very forced to tell Meyra the truth about the whereabouts of Ametsa who had disappeared.

He was just afraid that she would worry so much that he felt guilty for not being able to take care of his best friend who was not doing well.

Meyra, who was still waiting for her son to speak, sighed again, the woman knew that Daniel was hiding something.

"Daniel," she called again.

"Mom," said Daniel. "There's something I want to tell you honestly."

Meyra sighed then said, "Just say what you want to say."

"I was looking for Ametsa."

The atmosphere was quiet again with Daniel feeling worried after telling the truth to Meyra.

"What do you mean?" Meyra asked with a furrowed brow and mixed feelings. "She's fine, right?"

Daniel who knew that immediately sighed, he didn't know where else to look because he had just woken up and couldn't find the girl's presence on the bed.

"I just woke up, but I don't see Ametsa here. And I've been looking all over the room in this house."

Meyra who knew this immediately closed her eyes. "Are you sure it's all over the room?"

The man immediately nodded his head even though the woman wouldn't be able to see it. "Yeah, I've looked all over the room in this house, but I can't see the bridge of her nose at all."

"Didn't he leave you a message?"

Unfortunately, the girl didn't leave any message, even just to tell herself and that made her feel worried because she was afraid that something would happen to someone she loved so much.

"No Mom, what should I do now?"

Mira sighed. "Wait, let Mommy tell your Daddy first."

The man nodded as he caught his breath and said, "Okay, I'll try to find her in this house one more time. Mom and Dad should come here quickly because I'm afraid Ametsa will be in danger."

Just hearing it made the woman shake her head, then said, "Don't talk like that, because words can come true. Got it?"

"Yes, I understand."

In the end, Daniel decided to end the call. The man would try to find her one more time in this big house to find her own best friend.

Daniel is still trying to think positive before his negative thoughts take over.
