NEVER LEAVE IT

"LET HER GO!"

A scream made the two of them turn towards where the source came from. Right in front, there was a Daniel who just got out of the car with a look that was difficult to interpret, making Jason who knew about it immediately let Ametsa go.

"Ametsa," Jason called sadly. "I'm really sincere to you, please, believe me."

"Jason, I order you to stop right now!"

Daniel walked closer to the two of them until now the man was already in front of his best friend to cover Ametsa who was currently scared because of the figure of the man in front of him.

"What kind of man dares to make my best friend cry, huh?!"

"I didn't mean to make her cry, Daniel. Besides, you're just her best friend, it's better not to get too involved in Ametsa and I's business."

Hearing what someone in front of him had just said made Daniel's hands suddenly clench into fists, which made Ametsa feel scared and immediately stopped her best friend from hitting Jason.

The hand that was about to fly towards Jason, is now floating in the air because Daniel saw the girl who was blocking him.

The hand that was about to fly towards Jason, is now floating in the air because Daniel saw the girl who was blocking him.

"Ametsa, get out of the way, I have to teach him a lesson. A man like him doesn't deserve a woman like you!"

"Then who is worthy of him, huh?" Jason smirked. "Oh, could it be that you meant yourself, right?"

"Daniel, don't get emotional with just his words. Look at me, please don't listen to him."

Now Daniel's emotions are very high, if left like that, then maybe the man will beat him to death.

Even in the distance, Jilly was already very worried for fear of something happening to her. He knows very well how Daniel is, therefore he still hasn't moved from his place, just to protect what might happen later.

"Daniel, please," Ametsa said with tears in her eyes. "I promise nothing like this will ever happen again."

Seeing how Ametsa was begging him, the man immediately sighed before Daniel finally relented, then pulled one of his best friend's wrists.

"Jason, you're safe this time, if I ever see you again in front of the Cafe or try to get close to Ametsa, I won't let you do it!"

After saying that, Daniel immediately took Ametsa into the car with a really scary face. Even the girl herself was a little surprised by the change in her best friend who became a little different from usual.

"Daniel," called Ametsa in the silence. "Are you still mad at me?"

Now the two of them are on their way home, but there has been no conversation between the two of them which makes Ametsa a little awkward and bored.

"If you keep quiet, I assume it's true."

Daniel took a deep breath before the boy finally turned to the side where the girl was.

"You worry me, Ametsa. Even though I told you not to trust a man's words too much, because they might just want to trick you into a trap of their own making."

"I admit this is wrong but I'm lonely, Daniel. I don't want to keep bothering you, you've helped me too much."

"Ametsa, I've told you many times that I don't feel at all weighed down by you. You are someone I have to prioritize, you know that."

Hearing Daniel's words etc touched and amazed by what he had just said so that now the girl was smiling in silence.

"Let me guess, you must be smiling right now, right Ametsa?"

The girl beside him, who knew this, immediately froze in place before finally turning her head to the side where her friend was before she finally spoke.

"You suck, Daniel. But even so, I still don't want to lose a friend like you, I will never let you lose."

"Oh yes?" said Daniel with his sweet smile. "I'm very flattered if it's really like that."

It had been hours, but Ametsa had just realized that they were not currently on their way back home, which made the girl look intently at Daniel, who was currently driving leisurely.

"What is it?" he asked. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Where are you taking me, Daniel?!"

"Home, right?"

"Yeah, but this isn't the road we usually take to get back to my house!"

One of Daniel's eyebrows immediately rose after hearing what the person beside him had just said.

"Who said that I would take you back to your house?"

Ametsa's eyes immediately widened, then turned towards the road in front of her now before finally looking back at the figure of a man who was beside her at this time.

"So you're going to take me home with you, huh?!" said the girl irritably. "Answer me, Daniel!"

"Yeah, I'll take you to my house, it's better than you crying all night long."

Hearing this made Ametsa immediately turn her face the other way with her arms folded across her chest and her face bent.

"You suck, Daniel."

"I admit it, so why?"

"You are annoying, I hate you so much!"

Daniel immediately sighed, then returned to staring at the road seriously. "Do you think I'd care what you say?"

It didn't take long for the two of them to finally arrive at a large house with a fairly large yard. The man hid the car horn before finally a gate opened and invited him to go in there.

"Come on down," said Daniel after arriving. "I won't say anything to them, calm down."

"You must be lying," said Ametsa with narrowed eyes. "Just watch, am I fooling you?"

Seeing that Ametsa was currently watching him, Daniel, who knew this, immediately raised his eyebrows.

"How still don't believe me?" asked the man. "Well, it's up to you, I'll go inside the house and sleep."

It turned out to be true, Daniel meant to leave him in the car alone, making Ametsa, who was currently alone, sad.

"Don't you know that I love you very much?" mumbled Daniel with his hands clenched into fists. "If I seem to leave you, then all you have to know is, that I never really left you."

Right now Daniel is just behind the main door of his house, the man peeked a little from behind the window to make sure that Ametsa, who was going to continue to just stay in the car or enter the house.
