Sam obligingly turns back to the text. "There are some gaps here, but I'll do my best. '…Many days…hand of the Most High…to the East of the Sea of Arabah…'"


"That's what the Bible calls the Dead Sea," you explain.


Sam continues. "'East of the Sea of Arabah…below the Bull's Horns, I left the breastplate in the hands of the Sons of Light.' And that's the end."


There is silence in the room for a few moments, and then Esme speaks. "So he left the breastplate somewhere east of the Dead Sea, below something he calls the Bull's Horns." She looks decisively at Abdul. "We know where that is."
