It takes you a while, but you eventually find an instruction manual for the train's controls. Luckily, the controls haven't been damaged in any way, so you simply follow the instructions given in the manual and the train starts to slow down to about four hundred kilometers an hour, slower than its usual speed but a comparatively safer speed for the train to run at. Just to feel safer, you also program the train in such a way that it'll stop when it reaches its final destination.

You glance at your HUD clock; given the current speed of the train, you should be arriving at the research center in about twenty minutes. You decide to radio Morgan and check up on her, to see how she's doing right now. For a brief moment, you hear nothing except for some ragged breathing, and you call out to Morgan again, asking her what's wrong. Finally, after what seems like an eternity, you hear her voice: "Dorn Wilton…good timing…"She coughs painfully. "I might just need a hand. There's too many of them here at the artifact right now, and I'm barely holding out as it is," she says. Her face shows up on your HUD, and you stare at it in shock: she look considerably worse compared to when you left her less than ten minutes ago, her face bloodied and bruised right now.

You stare at her face in shock, not believing that Morgan just said that. This causes her to chuckle painfully, and she glances at you. "Well, are you coming to back me up or not?" she asks, trying to keep the usual bravado in her voice. You take a deep breath and tell her to wait for you; the train's under control right now, and you can go and back her up.

"Thanks…really appreciate it," she says, sounding very tired for the first time since you've known her.
