24 hours later…

You're in front of Captain Altug's desk, waiting patiently as she sits across from you, reading the report that you gave her earlier this morning. She finishes the report after another minute and sets it aside, looking at you intently. "Good job on securing the President's retreat, Dorn Wilton," she finally says and gives you a slight smile. You nod and thank her, saying that it was all in a day's work.

"A day's work. Damn it, if we had more people with your idea of a day's work, I think we'd be able to fight these things on a daily basis mano a mano," she says, her smile widening a little at your words. As she says that, she reaches into one of her desk's drawers and takes out another file, placing it in front of her. From your position, you can see that the file has your name on it, and you're slightly curious as to what she's doing with it.

She nods her head after reviewing your file and sets it down on her desk. "Good job on keeping yourself and your team alive through the whole trip, though. I've sent a copy of your file to be reviewed by my higher-ups, and they might send you into some more intensive training later," she says. More training, you ask her, curious as to the decision, and she nods her head. "You're a damn fine soldier right now, but you're not quite leadership material yet. Don't worry about it though, you're still young and there's plenty of time left," she says and glances at her desk again, peering at a screen on it.

"All right…I have another report to review right now, so you're dismissed, First Private Dorn Wilton," she says and salutes you. You stand up and return the salute before you leave the room, pleased to see that Altug considers you good enough for more intensive training.

This definitely counts as a time to celebrate, right?
