No volunteers? Smart kids," Balogh sniggers at his own joke before he glances around at the four of you in the back of the vehicle. "All right, then. I'm making the decision right now, and I say…" He points his finger at…

Ami lets out a cry of protest, but Balogh cuts his hand across the air to silence her. "Highest ranked in this Armadillo here," he says and glares sharply at her, and she leans back in her seat. You imagine her sulking as Jax and Larry stand up, heading out of the Armadillo. You see Jax sending a message, at which Ami replies verbally, "You'd better," her voice waspish and annoyed. You ask him about the vehicle's security system, and he nods his head. "It does have that, but humor me on this; I'd rather be safe with a ride back home instead of finding out that of all days, today's the one where we run into a crazy lunatic who decides to steal the Armadillo and take it for a joyride to the nearest town. Don't laugh; it's happened before, in the last century," he says with a slight warning in his tone.

Fine…you agree with him, and after a while, you decide that the one who has to stay behind and watch over the Armadillo is…
