You watch as Balogh leaves with your teammate and you remain by the Armadillo, watching over it until they return. An hour passes, and nothing happens. You stretch your arms in boredom as you wait for your teammates to call you. You really should have gone on the patrol, you think to yourself; at least that way you'd have something to do rather than just stand around and guard the Armadillo.
A few more minutes pass and your radio crackles to life. "All right, Dorn Wilton. We're heading back to you, and then we're going to go and pick up the others. We'll be with you in about six minutes," Balogh says. Finally, you grumble to him. It was getting really dull with nothing to do over here, you tell him, and he laughs at you. "That's what happens when you get guard duty. A whole lot of boring, but at least you're safe, right?"
You sigh and wait for him to arrive so that you can get this part of your job over with. He arrives soon enough, and after you get in, he drives the Armadillo over to the first ravine to pick up the rest of the team.
By this time, you're almost asleep from boredom.
