I tell him that I'd prefer to stick to my original suit.

"Seriously? You're not going to reconsider my brand-new and extremely updated suit that's definitely better than any other suit and mods out there combined?" he asks, and you shake your head. Those things aren't experimental, and you can customize the old suit to deal with any situation. Reliability is a trait that you prefer over 'experimentally better,' you tell him, and he sighs in defeat. "Fine. You soldiers don't have any sense of adventure at all. Fine. I'll just get someone else to test out my new suit, then," he says.

"Well, I've got to go now. More work to be done on the Einherjar to make it work better than it already does. See you another time," Edgar says and gives you a dismissive wave before he shoos you away from his invention. You walk away from the hangar, wondering what to do next, when you run into Captain Altug. She's back in uniform, although she appears to be moving about in pain. You salute her and ask if she's supposed to be out and about like this already.

"No. Doc is telling me to take a break, but I'm taking a walk around the base to make sure that everything is going smoothly. At ease, First Private," she says and peers into the hangar. "Is that Edgar's new invention?" she asks with a slight frown. You nod and tell her about your experience using it earlier today. She nods as she listens, then she turns back to you. "You know, it's good that he's getting in new tech for us to play with, but how does he get the funds for it? Did he ever mention that?"

You shake your head and tell her that he didn't tell you. You just assumed that everything is from R&D or something similar. "Yeah, I suppose. He's pretty good at this stuff, so I wouldn't be too surprised that it's how he gets his funding," she says thoughtfully. "Excuse me, soldier. I'd better leave before the Doc finds me out here walking around," she continues, leaving you alone for now.

You nod and head for the showers.
