Chapter 50 - Give me the best tonight
Jihye was now sitting in the office and Ben was across her.
"How's my daughter doing?" He asked
"She's doing okay...the day when she woke up she doesn't know us but she managed to stay strong and be patient with us and us to be patient with her" Ben nodded and sigh "Where were you?" Jihye asked while looking at him
"I was looking at her from above, looking at all of you from above. I want to show up when she woke up and spend time with her but I don't want her to think that I will stay here forever when she got attached to me. I don't want her to be sad. Seeing her happy was enough, especially with Leslie, her siblings, Dowon, and you. Please continue it" Jihye's breath hitched she doesn't want to overthink that the warning was done but maybe it is right?
"Are you saying that?.." Ben nodded and smiled
"You did it" Jihye wants to cry finally after worrying for three years she knows and she finally saw her father in law saying the warnings were done "You gave her the light that she deserves when she's grey and the love also"
"W-what will happen now?" Jihye asked to shutter
"Well, I'm gonna completely vanish. I'm gonna be entering the afterworld. I'm just getting the chance to see all of you whenever my birthday, my death anniversary, and HalloweenccomeJihye..please. Even though the warning was done. Please, take care of my princess. I know her mother was around her but she's married now with you and I want you to look after her" Jihye smiled and tried to touch his shoulder which she felt
"Don't worry, you know I love your daughter so much and I'm protective when it comes to her but you have my word and you don't have to overthink things when you're in the underworld" Jihye chuckled and so is Ben "But...aren't you planning to show yourself for the last time to Lauren?"
"Do I have to?" Ben asked
"You have to, say your last goodbye even though she has amnesia. She wanted to see you so bad and wanted to hug you. She was telling me about it, I-I know everything was hard for you I could feel it. Your daughter forgot about you but you have to remember even the world turns upside down she's still your daughter, she still has your blood and we don't want to see you suffering without giving her the last hug and I love you that she wants to hear from you. She's waiting for you" Jihye explained while looking at her picture and Ben sighs
"I know, I'm hurting but your right. I need to show myself to her, I just can't believe that she'll lose all her memories and I was hurt at first" he explained
"How many days before you vanished?" Jihye asked putting both of her hands in her sweat pockets
"Three more days" He answered
"Do it, you still have the time. I'm expecting" Jihye mumbled
"I will and will do, Jihye" Jihye smiled and sighs happily while they were looking at Lauren's picture. Admiring how beautiful she is.
One hour had passed, Ben decided to go on for a while wanting to look after his parents for the last time and promising Jihye that he will come back tomorrow and spend time with them. Jihye was rooting for it.
The dancer came out from the room and she sighed in relief seeing her wife sleeping deeply. She smiled and kiss the top of her head going back to her work.
Lauren woke up when she heard some noises in the kitchen, it was already five in the afternoon and she instantly stood up wanting to see her wife since she wanted some cuddles.
She walked to the kitchen and instantly saw her wife and son trying to make some dinner. The kitchen was a mess but Lauren doesn't mind. They were searing the steak and mashed potatoes with the side of mixed vegetables.
They look so cute and Lauren couldn't help but chuckle since they were fighting over her and Lauren was giggling lowly.
"Mommy's mine," Jayden said
"No, she's mine first" Jihye fight back
"But, I'm the baby here" The little boy exclaimed
"But I'm her first baby" The dancer defended
"No, she's mine" Jayden cross his arms and pouted at her
"Whatever you say, she's mine first"
Lauren decided to interfere
"Okay, kids" Jihye and Jayden look at her and their Jaw hung open seeing the CEO, she chuckled and kiss both of their cheeks "Whatever happens, I'm both yours. I love you both so much okay?" She said
They both nodded and Lauren chuckled "What are you both trying to cook"
Jayden's eyes lit up and looked at his Dada as she nodded "We're making steak with mashed potato and vegetable on the side. Dada said that this one is the dish that you both eat whenever you guys are alone in the house"
"That's so sweet, Thank you" Lauren kiss her son's head "Is it done though?"
"Nope, maybe fifteen more minutes?" The dancer says while smiling
"Okay, I'll just go to the bathroom and freshen up okay?" They both nodded and was about to walk away when Jihye held her wrist
"Where's my kiss?" She pouted cutely, The CEO frowned
"Didn't I give you a while ago already?"
"It's not enough though, there's something's missing your lips"
"Okay? What is it?" Lauren asked confusedly
"It's my lips. She missed yours" Lauren chuckled internally and peck her wife's lips multiple times causing her to giggle "Thank you" she peck it for the last time
"No worries, I'll be back in a few" she winked
"Okay then," she says as Lauren waved goodbye walked back to the living room to get her phone and walk upstairs to go straight to the bathroom.
It didn't take long for Lauren to come back since she wanted to spend some time with her wife and son. She decided to help cook since they were struggling to remove the lumps in the mashed potatoes. They ended up having a blast in the kitchen and laughing together.
The dinner went well, Jayden was talking about his school and the married couple was intently listening to their son and giving some side comments and even happy for him because he doesn't need help on his assignments. He was just seeking help whenever he was having difficulties and wanted to check if his answers were correct and to the married couple's surprise, everything was all correct.
They were thankful since they know that Jayden will be independent one day and a caring son. That's what they like and what they wanted. Jihye also told about her work to Lauren and the business trip that her father was telling her about which is in Los Angeles. That caught Lauren's attention asking if she could come.
Jihye didn't have second thoughts since she doesn't want to leave her wife and son. Good thing, Jayden has a two-week break and they can finally have their alone time and Lauren will be visiting the home where she grew up.
The dinner ended and Lauren went upstairs with Jayden to check if all his answers were correct while Jihye washed all the dishes.
Jayden was fast asleep when Lauren was explaining everything to him, she chuckled and shook her head. He didn't have a chance to change his clothes so Lauren decided to do it for him. She took out some clothes on his wardrobe and change him quickly and carefully since she doesn't want him to wake up. She kissed her son's head and turned off his lamp softly walking out of the room and closing the door.
She walked straight to their shared bedroom seeing Jihye wiping her face using a towel wearing her normal sleeping outfit. Lauren smiled and hug her from behind kissing her shoulder. Jihye smiled and intertwined their hands.
"I missed you" Jihye mumbled
"I miss you too, have work tomorrow?" She asked
"No, I'm staying here with you all day until Sunday. Want to go out on a date on Saturday? Jayden will be in his grandparent's house since he usually stays there every weekend" Lauren hummed
"Where shall we eat?" The CEO inquired
"You choose this time" The dancer turned around to face her beautiful wife and cup her cheeks kissing her lips a few times.
"Hmmm. I remembered when Mommy and I went to Gangnam two weeks ago. When we were on our way home I found this street food, Is it in Hongdae? I want to try those foods if you don't mind. I want a simple date this time"
Jihye smiled and kiss the top of her head, Lauren didn't change at all. She's still her. The difference is that she just lost all her memories.
"Still simple, my love. I love it"
"It looks so good though, Mommy told me that they usually eat in that place whenever they go shopping and my siblings were tugging them in that place and I wanted to try it," She said happily
"Okay, We'll go there" Lauren smiled brightly and kissed her wife three times until it turned passionate. Their lips were moving in sync and Lauren's hands were in her wife's neck pulling her closer while Jihye's hand was in her wife's waist slowly taking off her shirt.
They knew where this was going and they have been craving each other for now. Lauren pulled out the kiss and her lips traveled to her neck and collarbones biting and leaving some hickeys. Her hands also traveled to her wife's sweatpants and tugged them down slowly and Jihye was so turned on right now. Instantly carrying her wife in their bed.
"This will be another long night for us" Lauren smirked and pulled her wife to kiss her again but aimlessly pulled out and looked at her
"I just want you to remember, I'm loving this intimate moment of us. Give me the best tonight?" Jihye bit her lip
"Oh, I will. I will always will" she winked and Lauren pulled her again
