War of Retaliation VIII – End II

Selek Valaunter was knocked back and it was too late for him to avoid the blow. He slammed into the ground, crushing it. Grim Larsson's spear swung and troubled him only because his strength was lacking; as soon as he let his guard down, Grim Larsson unleashed a powerful attack.

He immediately stood up, and blood dripped from his mouth. He swung his spear, turning it until it formed a protective ki wall. "Ugh!!"

"You're more obstinate than I expected, Selek Valaunter." However, you have been ignoring this war without even realizing it. Surrender while I'm still nice!"

Grim Larsson drew his sword and raised it. The sky erupted with lightning, which landed on his sword. He dismounted and swung his sword faster than the blink of an eye.

"Yeah... you have no idea who I am, Grim Larsson!!" He thrust his spear into the sky as soon as he swung his spear.

"Sky-shattering Spear!" His spear clashed with Grim Larsson's sword swing, which was full of energy and lightning. The ground cracked, the air distorted, and a burst of energy emitted an oppressive pressure.

Grim Larsson, like Selek Valaunter, screamed as loudly as he could as he gained strength. That ferocious yell demonstrated the two of them's determination.

Voran, on the other hand, slashed down dozens of soldiers and slaughtered them one by one with incredible speed until he finally found an equal opponent and applied unusual pressure.

Voran slashed his sword into the air, attempting to wash away the blood that had clung to the blade. He rode his horse calmly as he faced the red-haired adolescent with the razor-sharp eyes.

"What a squandered opportunity. I need to meet a tough man like him! His strength is considerable and not dissimilar to mine. What is his name? This kind of ability isn't all that dissimilar to mine. I don't have a lot of information. This is extremely harmful." Voran fixed his gaze on the man in front of him.

The man who wore no armor and flaunted his red hair with piercing eyes as sharp as a dagger.

His killing intent was reflected in the fury of the spear in his hand. His black armor was engulfed by his red aura, making him appear even more menacing. That man was Mival Belloc, also known as 'The Brigadier of Death.'

"Your armor stands out from the rest. It's tough, but it's also flexible and easy to move. Typical luxurious armor that only those in positions of power could afford. Can you tell me? With whom am I dealing?" Mival Belloc asked in a cold tone, but his face was filled with warmth and comfort.

As soon as he asked, he released a powerful aura. He had the feeling that the man in front of him was on the same level as him, but he couldn't beat him once that feeling surfaced.

This was the first time he'd felt anything like this, and he had no idea why it was bothering him so much.

Voran ignored it and didn't even look at it. He had no idea he'd be up against such a formidable foe.

Voran had certain suspicions about the man in front of him, despite the fact that he didn't know who he was. The man's appearance only pointed to one person, namely Mival Belloc.

"Mival Belloc, what can you do in this war? Why don't you take a look around? Could you please tell me if you think you could change it?"

Voran swung his sword a few times, attempting to get used to the weapon in his hand. He remembered mastering the technique inherited from his family through his memories. It's just that he doesn't practice as much as he should.

Mival Belloc smiled as he galloped steadily towards Voran. The spear spun indefinitely, destroying everything in its path.

"Not at all!! I've only come to kill and achieve! It is not within my power to alter the circumstances and situations on the battlefield. I'm just one of the cogs in the machine that moves the troops. Victory will be mine as long as I am not obstructed! Well… I believe I came close! You... one of the higher-ups who will lavishly reward me!" He spun it around and then stopped, creating a shockwave.

Voran stomped his foot on the horse's back. His eyes darkened instantly, and he exuded a jet-black aura. As he rode towards his opponent, he held his sword high and sideways.

Two strong ki waves appeared and confronted each other. Voran swung it as they were only a few meters apart, and a wave of ki appeared from the swing of his sword. "First Step of Salauster's Sword: Cleave."

Mival Belloc swung his spear in infinite loops, and the ki he possessed encircled it. "Dark of Spear's Field!" As the spear rotated, a ki field formed. His horse's stride was even, and the ki field trailed behind him as he walked. The ki wave is restrained and does not penetrate the ki field, resulting in a powerful wave that shakes the ground.

"You will not be able to penetrate it, no matter how hard you try. You will not be able to overcome this technique. Let me caution you! You should get out of here. Isn't it true that your family is expecting you? Losing someone as brave as you will undoubtedly ruin your family. Go!!"

Mival Belloc said it in a cold tone, not one used to free someone, but to kill him. Furthermore, the look in his eyes was not at all friendly, even threatening.

He waited for Voran to turn around, but he didn't see him. He had not anticipated this at all. Those who are given the opportunity will usually take it, especially if they have failed to attack it or are powerless to stop it.

He was seeing a different attitude from the opponents he had previously faced. Mival Belloc smiled broadly, and the pressure on his ki field increased dramatically.

Voran was unconcerned by the words. All he could hear was someone interfering with his thoughts. When he entered the ki field, he felt a formless pressure oppress him.

As soon as he entered the ki field, he felt discomfort. He knew the situation wasn't good when he saw Mival Belloc's smile. Voran swung his sword several times, unleashing ki waves powerful enough to shatter the rock into pieces.

"Do you think I'm interested in all of that?" Voran's attack continued unabated. His sword swing accelerated, and the waves of ki he sent didn't stop.

His horse was unable to withstand the pressure and oppression he was subjected to. Voran jumped off his horse and flew at Mival Belloc while swinging his sword with one strong thrust.

As he floated, he used a technique, and ki erupted from his body, forming a very clear dragon image. "Take this!!" "Dragon Fist: Sky Clearing!"

The sky brightened as his fists clenched, and all the ki in his body, as well as natural energy, gathered in his hands. The dragon-shaped ki slid down towards Mival Belloc, who was spinning his spear, as soon as he let go. When the dragon descended, the sky darkened instantly. Voran's attack covered his entire ki field, immobilizing the man and leaving no room for Mival Belloc to move freely.

"Argh!! Fuck you!" Mivac Belloc was subjected to unfathomable oppression. The dragon became more depressed as he got closer. "Urgh!!! I can't let this happen-" Mivac Belloc raised his spear in an attempt to resist the pressure with his ki.

However, the harder he tried to hold it in, the more oppression and pressure he felt. "I'm done with all of that! I'm going to kill you! Humph... humph..."

He spun his spear, but it took a lot of energy every time he turned it. The pressure on him didn't go away, and it was slowly destroying him. He forced himself to keep moving his spear despite the pain coursing through his body. As he plunged his spear into the ground, the ki field changed. The ki tentacles sprang from his ki field and restrained the dragon-shaped ki.

When two kis collide. Mivac Belloc was forcefully suppressed by the formless pressure until he bent his knees after a powerful explosion blew everything away.

Sweat was dripping down his face and body, and his face was pale. Blood dripped from his lips one drop at a time. He could feel his body slowly being crushed, his bones creaking incessantly. He gave everything he had and remained calm in the face of adversity.

Voran sucked the energy around it with King's Power and suppressed it. He removed it but also added it. As he drew the ki around himself, his attacks became more powerful.

However, the impurity of what he absorbed placed a terrible burden on his body. Any impurities he absorbed came from the emotions he left behind, and any energy he absorbed came from those who died. As a result, the energy is tainted. Absorbing it only exacerbated his body's imbalance.

As he continued to press Mivac Belloc, his face paled and he gritted his teeth. The ground beneath Mivac Belloc's feet sagged and sank several meters.

A crack appeared on that side as well. Voran spat blood from his mouth as he watched Mivac Belloc collapse to the ground in a prone position. The ki field vanished, leaving a trail of blood around Mivac Belloc's body.

"Bluargh!! Ugh!! Oh, no!! This is excessive. I forced myself to suck up all the ki that was around me. Ugh!!"
