Defeat

The sound of fighting on the walls faded, and Veus led the rest of the troops into the city. Throughout the battle, he stumbled and looked for the right moment to move the entire army. Although he saw Voran held back and confronted the three Cultivators. He did not act immediately, but rather read the situation around him.

"Cultivator! Only the King can move them apart from their own hearts. This could be a sign that the King had participated in the battle. What happened to him? "Do you want to fight up there or in the city?" Veus rode while contemplating it.

Corpses littered the city's streets, and the corpses belonged to soldiers and civilians who took up arms or were killed in battle. The entire city was filled with the stench of blood and corpses. The air condensed and drew near all of the city's streets. Every citizen's heart was shook by the thunderous footsteps and fighting of the soldiers.

Westian swung his sword fiercely in defense of dozens of soldiers. Dozens of heads floated around him, and the soldiers' bodies collapsed around him. He stood quietly, and behind him was completely empty, with no one, and in front of him was nothing but death. As a result, the entire scene in that location merged.

Voran resisted the onslaught of the three powerful cultivators. He remained in a defensive posture for as long as he could while absorbing as much Ki as he could. He knew it was time to take a stand as soon as he felt an urge in his mind. He spun his sword, outwitting them before unleashing his lethal attack. "The Dragon Fist: Sky Clearing."

The black light that engulfed his body instantly transformed into a dragon and slashed the three of them. A powerful attack slammed into their bodies, sending them flying several meters away. Voran, on the other hand, was not in a good position; his face paled slightly after using that technique.

"I took in too much of this impure Ki. I need to be cautious now. It's on the verge of doing so. Calm down... "I need to relax!" After checking his opponent's condition from a distance, Voran muttered for a moment. There was not a single soldier in sight, and formless empty space could be seen beneath his feet.

He had no idea if they were still alive. However, his attack was laced with impure Ki. If they didn't die, they should have been seriously injured. Voran didn't look closely because he sensed an aura far stronger than the three of them. Voran considered the three of them to be no longer a threat. After sensing the urge within him, it grew stronger. He did not put a stop to it, but rather strengthened it.

He became more oppressed and depressed as he absorbed more of it. He clenched his teeth, however. Voran didn't mind that the sensation was still squeezing him. He knew that it was this power that would propel him to the pinnacle, and that pain was the only impediment he had to deal with all the time.

After noticing an increase in the flow of Ki throughout his body. Voran abruptly halted the absorption. Despite not having reached the second stage. He'd walked up to him. When he was finished. He immediately vomited a mouthful of jet-black blood, and his pores swelled and spit out a black liquid. His eyes turned white, then returned to normal, and this cycle was repeated several times.

Westian continued to finish off the soldiers who were attempting to attack him. He created a rain of blood, and mountains of corpses surrounded him. His steps were slow and steady, but with each step, a corpse with an incomplete body appeared. The sword in his hand did not stop killing and cutting the soldiers' bodies. Westian dashed towards Voran, who had just witnessed an unusual occurrence.

As he got closer to Voran, Westian didn't do much. Those who did not try to attack him were ignored. However, he did not hesitate to make it rain blood on every soldier who tried to put him to the test by attacking him. His gaze was only fixed on Voran, who was approaching him. He knew Voran was going through a painful breakthrough process when he felt a specific vibration from him.

"Ugh!!" His depression was exacerbated by the pain in his chest. Voran couldn't figure out why the pain was increasing rather than decreasing. This was a far cry from what he was going through a short time ago.The air around him became denser and gathered around him the moment he broke through. A powerful shockwave blew everything away as soon as he broke through.

Westian stood back and watched Voran make a breakthrough, not bothering him. He only had a smile on his face. He noticed a distinction between Voran and himself. He had done the same thing, but he had fallen and was unconscious at the time. As a result, he let it be. However, based on the circumstances, he concluded that Voran was not the same as him. He was far more powerful than he was.

"Unlucky!! I expected him to stumble after making that breakthrough, similar to what happened to me at the time. What I'm seeing right now, on the other hand, is completely absurd. He's now on par with me. You will not be able to do so after this. Once you pass stage 2-0, using King's Power and absorbing ki on the battlefield is no longer as simple. Should I call it luck or misfortune?"

Westian stomped his foot and bolted like a bolt of lightning. The ground beneath him shattered into shards. He charged at Voran, who had just blown away whatever was in his path. Voran was taken aback when he noticed Westian flying towards him. He swung his sword, and powerful ki shot from it. Westian had foreseen it, and he circled through the air, releasing an equally potent ki.

After that, he noticed something strange around him. Voran expelled the scorching pain from his body and focused his attention on the man who was shooting at him. At that moment, a menacing male figure with a killing aura charged towards him at full speed.

When Voran saw an attack in the form of a ki wave aimed directly at him, he twisted his body and unleashed his attack. A light that enveloped his body shot towards Westian and transformed into a dragon, albeit in a phantom form. "The Dragon Fist: Sky Clearing."

Westian successfully countered his attack. Despite the fact that his attack had hit him, the armor he was wearing was able to neutralize it. When Voran saw this, he gasped and couldn't imagine what Westian would do. They were no longer separated, and a direct confrontation ensued.

For a brief moment, Westian locked his gaze on Voran. He looked at it to see if Voran was going to fall. After a few seconds, however, he stared and observed it. He didn't notice any difference in Voran. Is there something wrong with him, or am I not strong enough to deal with it?" It's a little strange and nonsensical, but that's okay. Now all I have to do is finish him off, and this war will be over in my hands!"

Westian emitted a red ki that encircled his entire body. He raised his sword high not long after. An earth-shattering aura appeared out of nowhere and centered on his sword. He took it up and swung it at Voran. "The Destroyer's Sword."

Voran was taken aback by the ferocious pressure. He had not anticipated his opponent's level of ability and strength. He did the same thing without thinking, gathering ki in his body and releasing it in an attack form. "The Dragon Fist: Sky Clearing !"

Voran used all of his strength in that single strike. He had no strength left in him after unleashing the attack. He made a risky move after noticing the other party was performing a similar act. Furthermore, he had no strength left after experiencing the ferocity of the King's Power.

Westian, on the other hand, went all out in the attack. He felt that stalling for time in this fight would be a waste of time. As a result, he decided to settle the matter with his most powerful attack. Even after releasing that attack, his body went limp, and it was clear from the way he held the sword that it was no longer as powerful as it had been.

The massive Ki explosion leveled several buildings around them. Both of them were covered in blood. Voran had vomited blood, and his face was pale. The impact of the turbulence within his body began to reappear, and the weight was increased this time by the attack he had just executed. Westian, on the other hand, is in poor health. He threw everything he had into the attack until blood poured from his mouth.

As a crushing pressure hit Westian's body, he screamed. "Argh…"

When the scream came, Westian was knocked back and flew away, crashing into a building and causing the walls to crack. Voran, on the other hand, was in poor health. Several times, blood gushed from his mouth, and he knelt down while vomiting blood. His face became paler, and his veins began to appear and darken to jet black.

When that happened, all of the soldiers formed a barricade to protect Voran. They drew their shields and surrounded Voran, who remained kneeling. When the soldiers saw Voran in that state, they were terrified. They remained close to Voran, saying little and protecting him.

When the soldiers saw Westian lying on the ground, badly injured and covered in blood, there was a commotion. They rushed to protect him and attempt to remove him from the battlefield.
