Final Situation

Veus led the troops that destroyed the Arannor Kingdom's entire line of defense. Their walls had been breached, and their gates could no longer withstand Veus's waves of attack. The enemy's morale plummeted after Westian's defeat. In this war, Veus felt the shifting winds and waves. Sensing it and paying attention to the situation around him, he issued the final order to strike and bring this war to an end.

"The preceding explosion. This shift occurred as a result of the explosion. That's all right. This is a fantastic time." Veus did not consider this opportunity to be risky. He saw it as a golden opportunity he couldn't pass up.

His troops seized control of the city's walls and gates. They began to rush into the inner area and towards the palace. They did not loot or kill civilians. They did not, however, hesitate to kill those who attempted to fight back.

When his troops arrived with ease. Veus gave a heartfelt smile. He calmly observed the entire situation and every incident that occurred around him. Within his sight, he saw his troops charge and break through every last remaining defense until they reached the palace walls.

"What happened? Why does this appear to be so simple, and I don't see any resistance from them? This is a good thing, but what is causing the gloomy situation on their side?" Veus was perplexed because he had a complete advantage in the attack.

His troops encircled the palace walls and began to lift and ascend the stairs one by one. Veus kept an eye on him. When his gaze was drawn to the crowd of soldiers who had not moved for a long time. The reasons for their actions irritated him greatly. In the midst of them was a man with a very pale face, and when he looked at him more closely, his expression changed to one of complete concern.

"Unlucky!! How could this have happened? Shit!!" Veus dashed away from his position and rushed towards Voran, who was surrounded by soldiers, cursing nonstop. He had not anticipated such a dire situation when they had completely outperformed their opponent and were about to launch their final attack.

Who wouldn't be concerned when they saw their master was badly injured and it wasn't clear how he was doing? Veus couldn't think of anything else as he dashed towards Voran. When he arrived, he immediately inquired as to what had happened to Voran.

"How can Your Majesty be in this condition? What exactly happened here? Does anyone know what's going on here?" As soon as Veus arrived at Voran's side, a questioning sneer escaped his lips. He also checked his condition and noticed that Voran's ki was fluctuating wildly and ferociously. He knew the situation was dire when he sensed the overflow of ki within Voran's body.

One of the soldiers who happened to witness the fight between Westian and Voran detailed his observations as well. He didn't miss a single detail of what happened, including the powerful ki clash that destroyed several buildings. In addition, he recounted what had previously happened to Voran just prior to the fight.

"So. What exactly are you thinking, Your Majesty? Why are you forcing yourself to act this way? Everyone who is close to the King is aware that a King has his own power or blessing known as King's Power. Although this ability will increase the king's strength, the cost is not insignificant."

"All you need to do is absorb to the best of your ability and let us handle the rests If the troops find out you've been injured, their morale will be crushed, even if victory is on the horizon." Veus put on a worried expression that he couldn't hide for a second.

Following that, he directed the soldiers to transport Voran to one of the houses and guard him. He couldn't stay away from the battlefield for too long. He also directed one of the soldiers to notify Larsson of the situation on the battlefield. Veus hoped to end the war quickly, and with Larsson's assistance, he believed he could do so.

As he returned his attention to the siege of the palace, which was surrounded by a strong wall. Veus noticed that his troops were encroaching on the wall. The worry that had previously consumed him began to fade as he watched the ruins of his opponent's defeat become more visible. Not long after, he noticed Larsson, who appeared suddenly nearby with a fierce face.

Larsson didn't say anything or make a sound. He only gave an ice-cold stare that was filled with murderous intent. His aura erupted violently, filling the space around him to the point of exerting undue pressure. Veus felt Larsson's pressure, which caused him to break out in a cold sweat.

"What exactly is this pressure? Larsson, how powerful was he really? If he was on the enemy's side, this pressure could demoralize the entire army. I... how do I get to the same level as him? With this pressure and aura emanating from him, he would launch an all-out attack right now. Even though it's frightening, it's extremely beneficial."

Larsson had finished scanning the battlefield situation. He dashed away from Veus and shot straight towards the palace like a storm. As he jumped over several buildings, he had no other expression than killing intent and bone-chilling chills. There was nothing holding him back, even the wind gave him a boost, increasing the speed of his footwork even more.

His footstep shattered the space above the wall the moment he reached the top of the wall. He drew his sword and slashed it around in a full circle circular motion. The soldiers around him had been slashed in half, not to mention those who had just arrived at the summit. The moment he arrived, it began to rain blood. Following that, he descended into the palace and began a massacre, creating a lake of blood.

It makes no difference whether you are old, young, a soldier, or not. He killed whoever was in his path until he entered the palace and discovered Westian lying and being protected by various people. He finished them all in a matter of seconds without saying anything. His actions made it easier for Veus to take over the palace, and the war had ended with mountains of corpses and destruction on both sides by that point.

Elsewhere, the ongoing war provides an opportunity for some people to raise their banners. Moreover, several kingdoms that were keeping an eye on him began to take a stand. One of them was the Elaydric Kingdom, with which Voran had previously attempted to build a good relationship.
