Alpha Colton

"Get away from me immediately." The booming sound frightened all the ladies away from Hudson, and I suppressed my laughter at his plight. Hudson saw my amusement and gave me an irritating stare. I hide my smirk behind my hand.

"Your Majesty, please accept me as your lady." The ladies sobbed, and the other woman yanked the hair off the woman who had just finished speaking. Hudson is in front of me, looking at me at his full height, and the female group has broken into a dispute.

"What?" I said as he continued staring at me.

"Aren't you enjoying my misery? What if I kiss you and tell my female fan base you are my girlfriend? I'm curious." My heart skipped a beat when I heard Hudson say those things, and they made me shudder. Hudson had an evil smirk on his face when he saw my shock.

"You dare, Hudson, and if you do, I will kiss another person and inform the fan base that I already have a partner and that your rumors are fake, so say it," As soon as I suggest this, Hudson's eyes darken.

"So you have someone." He questioned, a little irritated; what the fuck is going on with this man? But god, why does he have to dazzle with such a gorgeous face near me? Fortunately, while the women's group was fighting, they didn't see our encounter.

"It's none of your concern." I put some space between myself and Hudson as the situation before my hormones scream or lusty thoughts return to my head.

For God's sake, if these ladies fighting are losing their heads because of this jerk Hudson, what case do I have not to lose at his ocean-blue eyes? When he notices I am moving away from him, he returns his steps from me, and his gaze turns to normal as if nothing had occurred and we had not even spoken to each other just now.

"Let's get out of here. These ladies are like leeches. Why don't you go to another class with Alpha? Let's call it a day of our training. "I nodded, grateful that I survived and didn't succumb to Hudson's temptation. Hudson departed in the other direction from me, and I proceeded to my next lesson.

"Brother, why aren't you allowing me to join the senior elite group? I am more than capable of looking for myself." When I heard the voice, I stopped my steps. I didn't want to pry, but I couldn't help myself, standing up to listen.

"There will be no more arguing with me since that is the last word on this, Dan." The sound of this voice is a deep familiarity. Colton's voice is conversing with his brother, Dan Barger.

"Fuck you; I will not listen to you; I'm going to talk with Dean Mark." While Dan was yelling, I was scrambling to get out of the way before he could see me eavesdropping on their talk because I could hear footsteps approaching the front door.

"Do anything you want, Dan, but remember that I am the Alpha, and even Dean can't help you." The footsteps came to a standstill.

"You may think I am weak since I can't stand on my own, but believe me when I say that I will make the Senior Elite squad," Dan screamed and stormed out the door, his face flushed with wrath. And fortunately, he didn't see me cowering in the shadows. I walked out the door and knocked on the glass door where I would meet Colton.

"Come in." I saw Colton jogging on the treadmill without a shirt, his biceps bulging and sweating profusely when I walked in. I gasped at the sight, knowing that if anybody saw this person's view, the female audience would follow the cold-hearted Alpha. Then, to dry his face, Colton stepped away from the treadmill.

"Dan, you arrived..." Colton's comments came to a halt when he saw me. I arrived sooner than scheduled.

"I'm sorry I didn't.... mean to come so... early." I stammer as he walks up to me, his abs gleaming with sweat. The way Colton gazed at me, with his stern glance, which held a flash of tender gaze, I got the impression that he believed I was his brother, Dan.

"Why are you sorry you arrived early so we could start training straight away?" Then he turns to clothes as he wears them and looks at me as a lock of hair falls on his forehead. "I notice you have a posture while holding the swords and kept a firm grip. Were you taught to handle the weapons?" He asked. I stopped to consider how to respond to Colton. I can't tell him the truth. With years of experience, I am reborn.

Intuition was all I had; there was no formal education involved. To Alpha Colton's doubtful stare, I offered a wry grin. Who would believe this sh*t?. But it stumped me.

"However, it seemed you had been familiar with the weapon for years if that's what you mean." I exhaled softly, relieved that Alpha Colton had not probed me anymore, and I set my backpack to the side as Colton approached the wooden swords.

"I'll go into attack mode first, and you can attempt to protect yourself; I'm simply curious about your posture while you're in defensive mode." I nod as he launches an assault, but I make a clumsy attempt to deflect his blow and cannot stop it. Because I didn't want to arouse his suspicions more, I took a pose that caused him to frown and seem confused.

"Something is wrong." I inquired.

"It's because you performed so well in the fight during the exam, but now you seem to be a complete novice." Faced with Alpha Colton's scrutinizing stare, I tried not to quiver.

"I told you I was a beginner, but you didn't believe me." I attempted to deceive him, and I prayed he would forget about it and instead choose to teach me.

"Hmmm…." He waited and then approached me, his enormous hands making my wrist appropriate and holding my sword right in posture. Then he requested me to step my left leg backside and right front to enter a defensive stance. The problem was that he was so near to me I could smell his natural perfume, which reminded me of a forest. I attempted to suppress my hormones, causing me to look at his body intently; fortunately, he didn't notice my gaze on his muscles or my apparent Gulps.
