Attack on Aliens

Although we maintained a close check on the castle, no activity was detected. I see that Xavier seems downcast as well. "Xavier, I think it's best to return to the university. We're not getting anything here." He knew we had to go back.

"I believed I could acquire anything from the realm and find out what was going on behind my back," Xavier whispered, and I heard him but didn't say anything since he was already down. So instead, we carefully made our way out of Hiding and back to where we'd come from.

The enchantment I felt was weird, precisely like the magic I felt on campus. To stop him, I grabbed Xavier. "What?" Xavier's gaze questioned my paused stride.

"The same weird enchantment surrounds me." Xavier attempted to investigate the area using his powers as well. "I don't sense any energy at all."

"Allow me to cast Lumiictus Persoim." This spell generates a frozen energy barrier. It's just a short spin in the sanguine air. As the fence approached, Xavier could see the thread of his energy absorbed, as did mine, and mercifully the barrier came to a halt. It was as if my magic altered my surroundings, allowing us to see things in a new way.

"What a disgusting sight: Fuck this is slimy aliens."

Xavier grunted. These alien slimes don't seem harmful, but they are very deadly. They feed off your life force to grow and get stronger, and they can cast invisible spells so that no one can see them. Then, they quickly vanish, challenging you to defeat them in a close battle if you find them.

"How did they get into your world, and why are your guards standing around doing nothing?" My question was prompted by the fact that we can see the slimes attempting to breach the barrier. I'm wondering the same thing, Aria, but the Slime is everywhere, and they're slowly killing my people.

Xavier shouted, and I tried to keep my palm on the barrier as Xavier helped me maintain my strength so the barrier would remain firm.

"We need backup. Xavier as this Slime..." I grumbled as the barrier began to sway.

"I'm working on it, Aria. I've informed Colton." Xavier alerted team phoenix using magic. I understood how to battle Slime from previous encounters, but I want to wait to show my abilities in public.

When the portal opens, I see Alpha Colton, Maggie, and Hudson descending, wearing their Dark Academy uniforms. They couldn't see anything until I cast my spell Lumiictus Persoim on them, and the magical circle surrounding them led them to realize what we were up against, and Colton's visage grimaced in response.

"Fuck I hate slimes," Maggie grunted.

"I'd want to know why two are here first." When Hudson inquired, and I groaned at him, he wanted to hear about going to the gargoyle world when we have danger. So I explained. He looked curious.

"We must focus on destroying the slimes endangering my world, not on this minor matter." Xavier yipped. Hudson frowned at the reply.

A close-combat strategy will be ineffective. Instead, we must employ magic to bring them down. Colton remarked, and I nodded. "Maggie creates three magical balls, one of fire, one of water, and one of air." In response to Colton's order, she began making progress. When the magic drops on the slimes, they absorb the energy and have no impact.

"Why don't we create a magic ball by combining all of the elements?" Maggie's eyes widen in astonishment, and she nods, and Coltons glances at me, acknowledging my notion, and as she lands the spell, they die, leaving only a black cloud in their wake.

"Yes, you go, down slimy bastards," Maggie exclaims happily. "It's not too early to start partying," Colton stated so, and Maggie paused and began to use magic back-to-back, but she seemed exhausted.

"Maggie, allow me to take charge while you protect the barrier," I said.

"Why don't we use a magical barrier instead of the whole body but only to eyesight to see the Slime and kill them? They can't drain our energy anymore as they have weakened?" Hudson remarked, and that's what Maggie did, and I began using magic balls, as did Maggie, Xavier, Huson, and Colton, to get all the slimes into one range to unleash one enormous assault.

Maggie and I used the magic element to form a large magic ball to kill all the slimes in one go, and the shine of magic came to our eyes, blinding us for a second, and we saw no signs of Slime around us, so we scanned the area.

"Thank God, those Slimes are gone for good; they had the most pitiful odor." Alpha Colton mumbled, and I smiled as he sniffled on.

"Let me check on my fortress and my knights. You guys accompany me there." Xavier spoke solemnly, and we all glanced at him as he transformed into a gargoyle and soared to the castle. Hudson sent us there by teleportation.

When I arrived at the gothic-looking castle, the guards were already hurt and on the floor, and I panicked. "What occurred here?" Colton and Hudson both had severe expressions, indicating they knew what was taking on. As we entered the castle, I saw many wounded guys placed one on top of the other.

"Could you kindly clarify what is going on?" Maggie snarled.

"Xavier discovered the traitor, and the wounded are traitor followers," Alpha Colton said.

"But how."I glanced at Colton for an answer. "I'm not sure how, but we must shackle these traitors here and aid our friend." Colton knelt, and Hudson bound them with a magical handcuff.

His energy was immediately noticeable to me since it was the same person that Xavier had been hauling about. Xavier places a handcuff around the wrist of a uniformed guy in Knight and seems to be in excellent standing.

Xavier stared at me, knowing I was wondering how he found it out. But I knew he'd lie to me afterward. I observe a new Knight of troops emerge from Dunegous, and they shove the chained prisoner into the cell.

"Thank you very much, Crown Princes." The other Knight said." Those bastards intended to revolt and take over your authority, and when we attempted to stop them, Sir Killian locked us up."

He said.

"You needn't be alarmed: "I am aware of the situation, and I'll remain behind and try to put this rebel to death." However, I should not be deceived by Xavier's pleasant disposition because he can become frightening. His grin sent a shudder down my spine. Maggie, too, appeared surprised at him.

Hudson and Colton sighed in unison, having seen this side of him." Long live the crown prince." The Knight repeated the phrase in unison.

"Now, go back to work and eliminate all the magic bugs that have impeded my ability to keep a close eye on my domain." They all took their profession seriously and transformed into gargoyles.

"Thank you, Aria." To my surprise, I felt excruciating goosebumps as I saw our entire squad staring at us. "I…" I couldn't say anything as his emerald eyes twinkled with glee.

"First and foremost, explain how you two left campus." Alpha Colton inquired, breaking the spell of Xavier on me. Pinning us with an intense glare, I tried not to panic since his eyes reminded me of a miserable death.

"I'm to a fault, not Aria. I invited her to accompany me since I sensed something was awry in my world and magic might assist me." He said, and I cast a sidelong look at Xavier, who seemed calm as if he hadn't broken the rule at all, and Hudson made a disgusted expression at the explanation.

"You can't risk Aria like that, you know she is human as well, and if anything happens to her, the dean will have your head and mine," Xavier told them. Alpha Colton wondered why Dean would do that and yet care for me. "I am aware and would have safeguarded if something went south," Xavier said.

"I'm sorry I'm still here, and why do I sound like some sort of royal thing?" They all sighed in unison at my words. "You are the sole member of the species, and Dean wants nothing terrible to happen to you," Hudson said.

"Wait, I'm not just rare; Eva Carter is also one." Hudson gave me a sigh. "Her Hex team will take care of her, and you are our responsibility." Hudson's statements drew a nod from me.

"Because you two broke the regulation, I'll tell the Dean about it right now for a more lenient sentence.." My heart sunk as Alpha Colton added, "I don't want to see Dean," and I cast a sidelong look towards Xavier, who was grinning at the words. "You appear joyful; aren't you afraid of what punishment he'll hand out?" Xavier exhaled a sigh.

"Colton will see that Dean reduces our punishment." I glanced at Colton, who groaned in answer.

"Please take me to bed; I need to sleep right now." Maggie interrupted, and everyone glanced at Maggie, who seemed to have run out of magic. "Xavier will arrive later," Colton stated as we all departed for university; Maggie dashed to her room, her head down on the bed, as did I.
