Words of a dead man.

"I will begin the reading of Merlin Quing, the final words, and will of a great man." The Lawyer said as they all sat down in a smaller drawing-room. Asher's father had come back just as the lawyer arrived, and he struggled to understand the tension in the room. Deciding to keep his questions for after the reading of the will he sat quietly, scanning the room. One question he could not hold in thought, "why is she here?" He asked, looking straight at Isabelle.

Isabelle shifted in her seat, seemed all of Asher's family hated her, except Asher and his grandfather, who was now no more. She said nothing and let the Lawyer answer the question himself.

"She is the last person, the person mentioned in the chairman's will."

"So she is the reason we have been waiting all this while?" He asked and the Lawyer nodded. "Why? She has no relation to this family."
