Synopsis

Six centuries passed since the end of the Profane War. The Gods are dead, violently dragged from their thrones by accursed beings whose name is only uttered in fearful whispers.

The atmospheric Mana became too dense for the human populace, now forced to live inside protective domes throughout the known world.

However, dreams blossom everywhere.

Spellcasters, skilled individuals capable of taming Mana itself, are able to brave the countless dangers outside. From wretched Nightmares to twisted phenomena, only they can survive nature’s cruelest hurdles.

Follow Aeden, a Homunculus hybrid, as he attempts to prove himself with his adventuring party, unknowing of the waves his abnormal birth stirred.

Through brutal trials and traumatic ordeals - perhaps they will learn - that when flirting with death, tomorrow is a hope, never a promise.

She exhaled. And then, the world turned red.

Heatwaves scorched the earth as he struggled to take a simple breath. Flaming tendrils snaked around them, rapidly coiling towards her in a frenzied dance.

It was no mere spellcast, for she hadn’t even uttered a single incantation. Her golden eyes fixed on him, burning with the truest essence of hatred.

The blaze roared once more, mirroring her emotions. It devoured living and nonliving objects in a show of terrifying equality.

The fire, ruthless and unforgiving, had already engulfed the whole forest. Still, before him, it only waited. It swayed and spun, whirled and twirled as if taunting him. Its influence was but torture, and he felt like his very life was being singed.

The heat charred his skin, and his body screamed from the painful embrace, yet it couldn’t even compare to the fiery madness that slowly crept into his mind.

The inferno parted akin to hellish curtains, revealing her silhouette, regal and solemn.

At that moment, his wits could only spare a thought:

“So this is.. a true Sorceress...”

Traditions need to be kept, and since I have confidence in my writing, I'll give myself a shameless full score review. This is my first serious work. As such, I hope you'll follow me as I weave thread by thread the world I imagined. If you've just started reading my book, you must know that I'm incredibly fond of foreshadowing. Thus, however small or "filler" it may seem, every detail will be relevant sooner or later. Naturally, don't hesitate to drop a review! It helps me develop and improve my skills while also motivating me to publish more. With that said, please have a good read!

Okay, okay, can I just say I love it? I thought it would be full of info dump at first... and was immediately hit by a deep world background brought out by fluid dialogues and descriptive paragraphs that were just the right amount of information and design. Not too slow but not too heavy. I apologize for my prejudice, Author[img=faceslap] I love the interactions between the characters and the light comedy in between. Not only makes it entertaining and natural, but also shows their personalities perfectly! I really like that the side-characters have their own bit of spotlight moments. Can't say a lot since we're still on early chapters so I'm gonna stick around to see where this goes and hope the author maintains this quality! Well done and good luck!

I must say that the author planned the story carefully. I can tell based on the descriptions, flows, and characters inside the story. The world and the concept of magic are superb. From what I have read the magic in the story is not simply a magical thing. In fact, it is a phenomenon that can be researched and studied. The codex thing in chapter two was great. I also like that you can see the full view of the world by just reading the conversation of the characters.

This web novel is great, and I like how it's been going so far. I don't have any real complaints so far. The characters are cool, world building is great, action is good, story is good. My only complaint: the writing is great but comes out wonky from the digital formatting this site has. I'd enjoy much it much more if I could read this physically.

My god, I wasn't expecting such an awesome world building. Look idk if this book is deserving of 5 stars so soon but all I can say is this book is good, Warlock of the Magus World level good. The world introduction in first two chapters is just awesome, ngl of you keep this up this novel could just be the next big hit precisely because of it's world building. What I personally liked about this novel was how it doesn't feed it's reader, like if you want to understand then you have to keep up and use your brain, I like that a lot. Instant collection and before this book blows up I'll start voting with power stones too lol. Writing quality: excellent Story development: can't say much as there's only 4 chapters but still rate it 5 stars at the pace it's going with. Character design: loved it, especially Rolf and Lutz 🤣🤣 (don't kill them author) Updating stability: didn't check this one but I'm guessing it's good too lol. World background: ABSOLUTELY FUDGING AWESOME!! so you have my 5 star and my loyalty.

The world building in this novel is key. The author does a great job of letting the reader understand and infer some of the broader things of the world. However the. major characters are poorly introduced there is little to no elaboration on the appearance of the characters leaving me to my imaginations, another problem is information we gain prematurely without any context of course this could be purposely done by the author. Overall the story is strong and has a satisfying foundation.

This story is too good for Webnovel. I was skeptical at first because the first few paragraphs were a little heavy on background information, but the rest of it was phenomenal. Just in these two chapters, it’s clear the author has fleshed out the world extensively. There were so many interesting and unique details without being too heavy handed. I’m curious to see if that will continue going forward. The fast paced fight scenes kept me intrigued, and the creatures the author described were also very thrilling. I am eager to read more.

The best praise that I can give is that I would like to write like this. The story flows well and in a brisk even pace. The world crafted by the author's intriguing but also deeply engaging. Yet the most credit for how good the story should be given to the character interactions. Very organically done and natural as well. Also Megi's my favorite so far. All in all one of the best written novels I've read on this platform and I'll be keeping a close eye on the story. TL;DR -> Read it, its worth it.

The world building and setting is detailed form start to finish. I loved the political intrigue brought by Aeden's existence in his world and his companions who all carried their own unique traits beside Nihil who seem to get a bit less screen time compared to his sister. As for MC himself, I liked how someone with his background still had the faults of arrogance and overconfidence. We know in the future it will probably cause him to mess up big time and this small faults in a character makes them more human. The only complain I have with the novel is too much over-exposition and dialogs. Otherwise its a complete 5/5 novel. My current rating seems to be 4.6 and may change in future when the exposition parts in the novel gets lower a big and same for dialogs.

This novel gives vibes of Warlock of the Magus World as it has a well fleshed out magic world and progression system, which is a key element for fantasy novels but is heavily ignored by most authors on this platform. Of course, this novel is not perfect and there are a lot of things which could be improved but I believe that this author will keep on improving the novel as the story moves forward. Basically, if you are searching for a well-made fantasy world made of magic. Look no further.

The author has a picture to portray through their words. And they do that well enough for the reader to understand the theme of it. The world created is admirable with an enjoyable storyline.
