Entry 10: First Person?

Waves crashed against the beach. It was a relatively peaceful night with the exception of your buzzing phone.

Honestly speaking you felt to comfortable where you were sitting in the soft grass so you only glanced at it. Y'know just to make sure something important wasn't missed, like if someone died or the country was being bombed. Just worst case scenarios you internally shrugged.

Luckily it was neither. It was just your friend asking where you went since you weren't at the party. Looking back at the beach from the edge of the cliff, which! and only which you sat on because it had a beautiful view. Plus, it wasn't that high, at most you would break a leg or something.

The ocean was one of the few things that calmed you as you could think about all the mysteries behind it. Like there actually is a possibility there are mermaids or mermen. It could just be a different evolution like the ones that created human kind but just in the ocean.

Maybe thinking of big things like that didn't intrigue you much but the possibility was cool. Sighing you looked up at the dark sky. Fortunately it wasn't to cloudy tonight to block the view of the moon and stars.

You felt the wind breeze past you and ruffle your hair. You always wondered when you were a kid if you could touch the stars. But life had to ruin it for you because they were actually really hot and not just some twinkles of glitter you wanted to hold.

You feel like could sit here forever but the buzzing of your phone was getting to a rapid pace and your rear was starting to get sore. So standing up was your only choice, though it was going to be sad to leave.

Standing of a second, you wishing you were in a novel so you could just enjoy this every day. Maybe you could even read a novel to in this figurative novel. You decided that would be nice. Grabbing your phone off the ground (because you almost forgot it) you headed down the path that led to the parking lot..

I totally didn't make this a whim. and no i do not recently have a obsession with the ocean though i hate the thought of something grabbing my leg when i go in it…
