this fic is quite good, the author understands the original media and the Mc who seems to be the only OC is well created an her personality is well portrayed. unfortunately this book suffers from three main flaws, though if you can ignore them it's an amazing book. 1. the author keeps forgetting to put "I" into sentences for example they'll start a sentence with "am going to..." where the character was saying that they were going to. it's bad enough that it almost seems purposeful. 2. the author writes as if the reader has already watched teen Wolf (the show this is based on). as someone who hasn't watched that I can confirm this makes things a lot harder to understand, not impossible, just harder. 3. the explanations and descriptions are shortened to "character x tells character y all the details about z" when the reader was never given much details about "z" leaving me scratching my head. there were some very good opportunities to give details about the characters by how they describe things or maybe they had fun on date for example because they won some obscure plushy and it was their favorite. just the little things that most people take for granted that can really flesh out a story and give the characters lives of their own

Going by webnovel’s rating system i guess this is 4 star, personally id give it closer to 2.5-3. Its not a bad fic, but unfortunately its just a canon rehash with a new character in the mix that takes Scott’s place. If thats your thing youll like it, but its not mine. Basically nothing changes from canon except for a few conversations, which then get “fixed” later so the plot still goes the exact same way. Like in S1 instead of Derrick getting shot, Astrid does, but to make it so Jackson still gets wolfsbane potion on him Derrick Astrid goes to school anyways, Derrick comes too, confronts jackson over nothing, and cuts him with his claws which have her blood in order to keep that the same. Again, its not horribly unbelievable, but it feels like the author is constantly stopping any and all creative freedom they have in order to copy canon almost exactly (with the same dialogue).

I can say that it is a good story even though it has a few chapters it has a solid main character on what she is and how she plans to do it. while having the development of a good character with each character added.

I wanna give you 1 star in updating stability cause ya know, I want more chapters 😉. but I'll settle for 5☆. I am loving this story and can't wait to see how the rest of it goes.

Loving the read so far but I'm sad that I've almost caught up to where you've left off at, currently on ch 24 of 33 😫, hoping for more updates in the future when you have time or haven't dropped it 😅🥺. Tbh, I'd love to see a "Vampire Diaries Universe" fanfic from you, with Astrid Mikelson as the MC, maybe as Klaus's twin. A fanfic in a supernatural world, made up of multiple tv series', Vampire Diaries x Teen Wolf x Twilight {x whatever else fits in}, universes blended into one would be interesting... starring Astrid Mikelson ofc lol.

Any new updates planned for this web novel? I do hope so since I liked reading it when you had posted it with an original hybrid and her mate Allison Argent.
