Chapter:3 Lacrosse Practice, Meeting Derek and Party (Edited)

As we arrived at the lacrosse field, the sun was beginning to set, casting a warm glow over the grassy field. We found a spot to sit on the bleachers and watched as Scott and Stiles made their way onto the field. Stiles was trying to convince Scott not to leave him on the bench when the coach interrupted their conversation.

"McCall," he bellowed.

"Yes, coach," Scott responded.

"You're in goal," the coach told him, tossing Scott a lacrosse stick with a wide net and a helmet.

"But I've never played goalie before," Scott replied with a surprised look.

"I know, but scoring some shots will give the boys a boost in confidence. It's a first-day-back thing to get them energized and fired up," the coach explained.

"What about me?" Stiles asked.

"Try not to take one in the face," the coach remarked.

I couldn't help but hold back a chuckle as I saw the look on Scott's face as he reluctantly made his way to the goal post.

Turning to Allison, I struck up a conversation with her, asking where they had lived before moving to Beacon Hills.

"We were in San Francisco for a year, which was the longest we stayed in one place. What about you?" she inquired.

"I've moved around a lot as well. Before coming here, I lived in New York," I replied with a smile. I knew Scott was listening in on our conversation.

"By yourself?" Lydia interrupted.

"Yeah, my parents passed away in a car accident a few years ago," I lied.

"I'm sorry. I-" Lydia began, but I cut her off.

"It's all right. You didn't know," I reassured her.

We refocused on the lacrosse practice as the coach blew the whistle. I winced slightly as Scott grabbed his ears, clearly distracted by our conversation.

The first player threw the ball, hitting Scott in the face. The players and coach started laughing, but Scott got up and readied himself with a determined look, catching every ball thrown at him with impressive reflexes, shocking everyone.

"He's good at this," Allison commented.

"Yeah, very good," Lydia added with an intrigued expression. While I was amused by the whole ordeal, I couldn't help but think, "He's enjoying his power without even knowing it, and he's going to complain about it later."

The school day ended after lacrosse practice. I decided it was time to introduce myself to Derek Hale, one of my favorite characters in the series.

I moved swiftly to the burnt-down Hale house and took a page from Damon's book, creating a flashy entrance with a dense fog surrounding the house.

Derek, who was seated on the stairs, noticed the fog and got up, focusing on his hearing and extending his claws. As he cautiously descended the steps, he was startled by a crow's caw and then saw me as the fog dissipated.

"Who are you?" he asked warily.

"My name is Astrid Mikealson, and I'm new in town, so I thought I'd introduce myself to the local werewolf," I calmly replied.

"So, are you going to introduce yourself?" I asked.

"Derek Hale," he responded, still glaring. "So, what are you?"

"I'm going to let you guess, but here's a hint: I'm like you, with a bit of something extra," I said, flashing my red eyes. Derek's eyes widened as he muttered "Alpha."

"I'm not just a normal Alpha," I continued.

"What do you mean?" Derek inquired.

"I mean that I didn't obtain my Alpha status from another. I became an Alpha through determination and sheer will. I am a true Alpha," I declared, my voice deepening as my eyes glowed brighter, my fangs growing, and a growl ripping from my throat. Derek's eyes glowed blue as he instinctively took a step back. 'Technically not true but I've always wanted to say that'

"Sorry, I got carried away at the end," I apologized, and he nodded in response.

A few minutes later, we heard voices that I recognized as Scott and Stiles. "Right, I'll let you deal with the newly bitten beta and his friend. I'll call you if I find anything on the Alpha. Okay, bye," I quickly said before vamp-speeding off, leaving Derek to handle the situation with the two in the woods.

[Time Skip]

The night of the party and the full moon had arrived. I dressed in a black leather jacket, a red t-shirt, blue jeans, and shoes, confident with my appearance as I checked myself in the mirror. I headed to the garage with a grin and hopped into my new car, a sleek black convertible, its engine purring as I revved it up. I drove to Allison's house to pick her up.

As I drove, the anticipation of the night's events filled the air, and I couldn't help but feel excited for what was to come.

I got there just in time for Allison to be getting out of the house. She smiled as she said goodbye to her father who stopped at the door. I got out of the car and gave him a wave and a smile, which he returned.

I faced Allison and looked at her up and down she's wearing the same outfit she wore to the party in the show.

"You look beautiful," I told her which she blushed at before complimenting on my own. We got in the car and drove to Lydia's house where the party is, on the way there Allison asked me a question I knew she would ask eventually.

"So are you going to tell me what you are"

"sigh, do you want to know I don't mind telling you but it might change the way you see the world," I said seriously not taking my eyes off the road.' if I can help it am going to tell her everything because keeping secrets and laying to each other is what drove her and Scott's relationship to break am not going down that path.' I thought with determination.

"Yes, I want to get to know you better "

"Sigh, Alright."After that, I told her everything about the supernatural, how many creatures exist, about me being a hybrid how old I am that one took a while for her to wrap her head around how the vampire race is extinct everything.

she asked me a couple of questions which I answered honestly. A few minutes later we reached the party I parked the car and looked at Allison who had a cute thinking face.

" Can you show me?" she asked.

"Are sure" she nodded. sighing I closed my eyes as my features started to change. My ears elongated my teeth sharpened with the four fangs extending, I could feel the black veins going down to my cheeks from my eyes. Finally, I opened my eyes that we're glowing blood red and saw Allison looking at me in complete awe.

"Beautiful" she mumbled and I chuckled my features going back to normal.

"Only you would say that most people and some supernatural will run when they see my face. Now, what do say we have some fun in there and get out of the car hmm" I said pointing to the ongoing party. After that, we had a great time dancing and getting to know each other better, a few hours, later I took Allison home and I went out to get a 'snack' then went home and slept with a smile on my face.
