Chapter 08 Shocked And Confused

Asnee almost lost it when he saw another man kissing Santichai and Santichai didn't resist at all, he was even more angry that Santichai allowed this to happen. The anger in his heart suddenly surged into his mind, he knew that the reason why Santichai left him was probably because of this man. He rampaged through the clearing, wanted to beat the other guy beyond recognition, but when he got across the yard, the man in the white coat was gone. He shouted angrily, "Santichai Kittibun!"

Santichai turned around and said in a trembling voice, "Ah... Asnee..."

Asnee went to Santichai frantically and said, "I finally found you." He grabbed Santichai by the collar and pulled him up from the bench. "Do you think I won't find you if you move to another city? If you're going to run away from me, you should've left this country. As long as you're still in this country, I'll find you." He grabbed Santichai's bag. "We go home!"

Santichai said frighteningly, "Asnee, I'm still working. I can't leave my shift."

Asnee dragged him from the back door of the kitchen to the trash area. Santichai struggled to pull his arms away from Asnee, but he knew he would never be able to escape Asnee's strong grip. With tears in his eyes, he said, "Asnee, we've broken up. Let me go."

Asnee slammed Santichai into one of the dumpsters, shouted angrily, "Who agreed to break up with you, eh?" Santichai fell to the ground. Asnee looked at Santichai who was sitting on the ground trembling. Moments later, Asnee helped Santichai up and hugged him tightly, tears in his eyes. "Who agreed to break up with you? You...you..."

As Santichai's face touched Asnee's neck, he could smell the faint scent of coconut shampoo. He longed for this hug, that meaningful hug, why it was always too late for the hug he wanted. "Asnee, I'm still working," he said.

Asnee said softly, "Santichai, come home with me, you won't have to work from now on. You can stay at home. I'll do everything. You know, since you left me, I miss you so much? How sad am I when I see all the pictures cut in half? You... hurt me..." Then his phone rang. He pulled away from Santichai, but his right hand still held Santichai's wrist tightly. He picked up his phone. "Ma..."

Mrs. Siriporn said, "Asnee, where are you? Everyone is waiting for you."

Asnee said, "I was walking around and got lost."

Mrs. Siriporn asked, "Do you need Tipkamol to pick you up?"

"No, I'll be there soon," Asnee said. He hung up the phone and turned to look at Santichai. "Let's go to my hotel room first."

Santichai said, "Asnee, I'm still working."

Asnee said, "Quit your job. Are you afraid I won't be able to feed you?"

Santichai had long since made up his mind that he would never be able to return to his previous life when the pain caused by Asnee slowly healed. He said, "No, but your mother is waiting for you, why don't I give you, my number?"

Asnee looked at Santichai and asked frantically, "Why did you change your phone number?"

Santichai said, "I lost my old cell phone."

Asnee said, "Fine, what's your phone number?"

Santichai quickly entered the numbers on the dumpster in Asnee's cell phone. He said, "I work for the Light Recycle Company."

Asnee asked, "Do you really want to leave that much, you even change jobs?"

Santichai said, "There are no sewing companies here."

Asnee looked at Santichai and said, "You wait for me here. I'll go tell my mom that I'm not feeling well and come back to pick you up. Then we're going home from the hotel." He looked at Santichai firmly. "Chai... don't move from this spot."

Santichai nodded, "Mmm."

Asnee smiled and kissed Santichai on the lips quickly. He said, "Good, all right. Wait for me here."

Santichai nodded, "Mmm."

Santichai watched Asnee run across the field towards the main building. He didn't know how long he had been standing, and it wasn't until Fon called his name that he suddenly returned to reality.

Fon said, "Santichai, you got just a little food, why did you eat it for so long." Santichai turned around, and Fon could see his pale face. "Santichai, what's wrong?"

Santichai said, "Pi Fon, I'm not feeling well. Would you mind if I go home?"

Fon asked worriedly, "Are you okay? Why didn't you tell me earlier? Go home..." She paused. "Santichai, come back Monday. Since you worked for Aisoon last week, he'll cover for you this weekend. Go and rest, you're my most valuable worker, see you're unwell, my heart is broken."

Santichai nodded, "Thank you Pi Fon."

Fon, "Santichai, call me if you need anything."

Santichai nodded, "Mmm."

Fon watched Santichai walk to the doctor's and staff's parking lot, and she sighed, "How did you live so long alone?" She shook her head.

Santichai rushed home, and once he got home, he locked himself in his small apartment. He decided not to go out until he had to go back to work on Monday. He lay on the bed and began to sob. He whimpered, "Asnee, why? Why are you coming back into my life again?"

At seven-forty-five, KK was already waiting in the parking lot for Santichai. There were a lot of mopeds in the parking lot. He wasn't sure which moped belonged to Santichai. He plans to secretly follow Santichai's home. He waited and waited until he saw Fon walking towards her car. He approached Fon.

KK asked, "Mrs. Pricha, is Santichai still working?"

Fon said, "Doctor Suwannarat, Santichai is not feeling well, so he went home after lunch."

KK was shocked to hear Fon's answer. "He was fine when we had lunch today," he said.

Fon said, "After lunch, his face was very pale. He asked me if he could go home. I told him it was ok."

KK asked, "Do you know where he lives?"

Fon said, "I don't, but I have his phone number."

KK asked, "Can you give me his phone number?"

Since they are colleagues from the same company, Fon didn't think much about it and said directly, "Okay." Part of her hoped that someone would check whether Santichai's condition had improved.

After Fon left, KK dialed Santichai's number, but no one answered and went to voicemail. He knew that he should give Santichai space. Instead of calling Santichai a second time, he decided to text Santichai "if you need anything, please let me know".

Santichai flipped his phone over and saw a missed call from an unfamiliar number, as well as a message from the same unfamiliar number. He read the message and knew it must have been sent to the wrong person because no one had ever sent him such a message in his life. He deleted the message and continued to lie down.

After taking a shower, KK checked his phone again, but Santichai didn't return the call. He sighed and texted back, "I'm sorry, I confessed to you today, but I didn't mean to scare you." He looked at his phone, and it rang. He picked it up. "Ma."

Mrs. Suwannarat said, "KK, did you just come home?"

KK said, "Yes."

Mrs. Suwannarat asked, "Have you eaten?"

KK said, "Not yet."

Mrs. Suwannarat said, "KK, I've sent you a package, make sure you open it. Look it up if you have time."

KK said, "Wait, I think I saw your package." He moved the mail aside and saw a large yellow envelope. He put the phone on the table and the speaker. He started opening the mail. He took six pictures out of the envelope. He saw four women and two men. "Mom, what is this?"

Mrs. Suwannarat said, "KK, it's hard to manage multiple companies alone. Since you don't get yourself a suitable partner, then let me help you. I'm worried about you. These six young people are the best fit for you. Promise me you'll take a look."

KK said, "Thank you, Mom." He heard his father calling for his stepmother. "Mom, remind Dad to take the medicine on time."

Mrs. Suwannarat said, "Don't worry. Your sister-in-law is administering his medication. KK, you must be tired, I won't bother you anymore. Good night..."

KK, "Good night." He hung up his phone.

Although Mrs. Suwannarat is only his stepmother, she cares for him like his biological mother. When it comes to his love life, she pays special attention to the woman or man he is dating. It's not that his biological mother doesn't love him, it's that he is fortunate to have two mothers who love him in their own way. His mother loved him, supported him, and gave him great advice on business. His stepmother loves and supports him emotionally, so he doesn't regret having two mothers. When it comes to parental love, he has no complaints. As his phone vibrated, when he was looking at the biographies of the photo his stepmother chose for him. He opened the new text message that read "Sorry, you dialed the wrong ".
