Anthony, be gentle!

Avril's POV

After leaving the school, I went to the cafe at the school's one-kilometer location.

When I walked in, I caught a glimpse of the girl sitting by the window.

black lace wrapped tightly around her sexy body, curly, light brown hair, The makeup was flawless.

She is Rose and is the administrator of our school forum.

Also Reno's new girlfriend.

Rose and Reno's acquaintance is very dramatic.

The last time Reno helped me track down Marcia's account information, it didn't go that well.

Rose was also a computer whiz, and when she found out that Reno was breaching the forum firewall, she and Reno fought.

It was an Internet battle that Rose eventually lost.

She wasn't convinced and then found Reno through internet information.

They then quickly became boyfriend and girlfriend.

I'm curious about the story of what happened between them, but today, I don't want to hear the story.

"Hello, Rose. I'm Avril," I walked up and offered to greet her.

"I know you, you are the mate of our Silver Lake pack Alpha, you are so pretty, no wonder you can charm the handsome and powerful Alpha."

Rose had a lively personality and she easily diffused the awkwardness of our first meeting.

"Don't make fun of me. When it comes to beauty, how can I compare to you?" I said with a smile.

"Is there something you wanted to see me about?"She smiled asked.

I said bluntly, "Rose, I'd like to ask you a favor."

Rose smiled and said, "What kind of help? Tell me, I'll help you if I can."

I know Rose is willing to help me because of Reno.

But I didn't care what her reason for helping me was, I said bluntly, "I want you to help me investigate someone."

Rose was surprised to hear that.

"Investigate? Who do you want to investigate?" Rose asked.

I said, " Grace."

Rose was a little surprised, "If I remember correctly, she was supposed to be your professor, why are you investigating her?"

Why am I investigating Grace?

Because she went too far this time, of course.

To be honest, I didn't want to get her in trouble at first.

But as Grace decided to fire Emily, I was reminded of the horrible things Grace had done in her previous life.

As I recall, in a previous life, Grace abused her powers and mistreated students.

She often ended up wrongly blaming many of her students.

In the end, several students committed suicide because of her false accusations.

These students all have one thing in common - they are all weak in character.

How can a person like her become a professor?

It's an insult to the profession.

Because of this, I sought Rose's help to investigate her.

I told Rose about Emily being falsely accused and then expelled from school because of Grace's false accusations, which ultimately made Amy the target of public criticism.

When Rose hears this, she can't contain her anger.

"Is there a professor like that in the world? She's shameless!"

I nodded and continued, "Rose, my professor abuses her position, bullies students, and even abuses them. It is said that her personal life is a mess, so I would like to ask you to help me investigate. If this is true, then such a person has no business teaching."

Rose has worked at the school for a long time and she knows how to get the most wanted information from the internet and the school.

Thinking about it, I looked at her.

"We can't tolerate this any longer, either for Emily's sake or for the sake of the students at the school! Can you help me find all of Grace's incriminating evidence?"

She nodded.

"Avril, don't worry. I'll take care of this. I'll make sure everything goes smoothly."

I was relieved to hear her words.

"Rose, you're the best."

I breathed a sigh of relief after saying goodbye to Rose.

As long as Rose exposes Grace's incriminating evidence.

Emily will be able to go back to school

When I left the cafe, I didn't go home but went to the training ground.

Coach Mark is right, there is no way to avoid being bullied when you are weak.

The only way to change things is to become strong.

Two full hours of brutal training had left me almost exhausted.

My arm felt a throbbing pain and was swollen even more than it had been during training.

The slightest touch made me gasp in pain.

I didn't want Anthony to see me like this, or he'd be worried again.

So I rushed upstairs to take a shower and changed into a long-sleeved top to cover the wound.

After my shower, I lay in bed, thinking about Emily and the events of the day.

I could have helped Emily without trying so hard.

In my past life, we weren't close to each other.

Although we've studied together a few times in our lives, we're still not very close.

I pondered why I should help her.

Because I can't stand Marcia's evil behavior anymore?

Or was it because I was too lonely when I died in a previous life?

After all, in a previous life, I barely had a good friend around, even when I was on my deathbed.

I don't want to go through that feeling again.

Because of this, in this life, I want to do what I can to help others.

Emily's character is timid, but she's kind.

When thugs come for her, she will stand up bravely to protect her friends.

Emily is a good friend.

Sadly, in a previous life, I was blinded by rumors and lost the opportunity to interact with this friend under Marcia's conspiracy present.

Now that I'm able to make the choice again, I think it's important to cherish it.

I had to prove Emily's innocence and get her back to school.

Not only that, but I want the school to publicly apologize to Emily.

In short, in this life, nothing can be repeated!

The thought of it strengthened my resolve.

At that moment, footsteps came from outside the door.

It must be Anthony coming home!

With that in mind, I hurriedly got up from the bed and ran out happily.

"Anthony, you're back," I said.

"Why aren't you in bed at this late hour?" Anthony asked with a frown.

I laughed and said, "I couldn't sleep. Besides, can't you see I'm waiting for you?"

But the truth is, it's because my arm is getting swollen and sore.

I can't sleep at all.

"Why are you home so late today?" I asked.

"I had an emergency, so I had to work late," Anthony replied calmly.

Hearing that, I couldn't help but feel a little sorry for him: "Honey, you've worked hard. Do you want to have dinner? I'll cook it for you!"

I thought he'd say no, but he didn't.

So I said happily, "Wait for me for a while then, dinner will be here soon."

After saying that, I immediately went downstairs excitedly.

I made my way to the kitchen and expertly tied my apron on first.

But when I raised my hand, the wound on my arm began to hurt more and I couldn't help but gasp for air.

However, I don't care.

I stopped for a moment and continued washing the vegetables.

It was a rare opportunity to have Anthony eat what I made for him.

No matter how much my arm hurts, I insist on doing it.

"What's wrong with you?"

I didn't notice that Anthony had come down the stairs, and I screamed in pain when he grabbed my arm.

"What's going on?" Anthony asked me with a frown.

My face turned pale from the pain, but I still shook my head. "It's nothing ..."

Antony didn't take my word for it.

He immediately grabbed my hand and rolled up my sleeve without saying a word.

His expression was somber when he saw my red, swollen arm.

"What the hell happened?" He asked me.

"It's nothing. I just accidentally bumped into something." I didn't want him to know that I had gone to the training ground and had to choose to lie.

"Don't move," Anthony ordered me.

He turned off the stove, held my hand, and sat on the couch.

Then he turned to get the medicine chest and carefully applied the medicine to me.

I was secretly overjoyed to watch what Anthony had done for me.

Although he seemed indifferent to me all the time.

But he was concerned about me.

Just thinking about it fills my heart with joy.

"I can't believe you're still smiling." Anthony didn't know what was going through my mind, and he couldn't stop frowning.

"Why can't I smile? Even though I'm hurt, I still have you." I said smiling.

"You don't get scared unless someone teaches you a lesson, do you? Be more careful in the future. What if you get seriously injured one day?"

Hearing Anthony's concern, my mood brightened and I narrowed my eyes and smiled, "I'm not afraid, because you can save me."

My answer didn't please Anthony too much, and he suddenly pressed on my wound.

"Ah, oh, oh, Anthony, be gentle! It hurts too much!"I screamed in pain.

"It's good that it hurts. That way you'll remember the lesson next time." He said his words coldly, but immediately reduced his intensity and continued to apply the ointment patiently to me.

"It's getting late, go upstairs and get some rest."After rubbing the medicine in, Anthony urged me.

I nodded obediently and went upstairs.

Right now we're in a pretty good place.

As long as there is no misunderstanding between us, I can slowly approach him and make him trust me.

With time, the distance between us will naturally be removed.

As the thought occurred to me, I lay comfortably in bed.
