Retaliation

Avril's POV

When I brought Marcia and Carl to the training ground, I saw their faces turn pale.

"Avril, why did you bring us here?"

Upon seeing Marcia and Carl acting like idiots.

I smiled and said, "Don't you want to know what I've been up to lately? I've been training myself physically here. Do you want to try it?"

Marcia heard that and immediately shook her head like a rattle. "No, I'm not going,"

Carl followed suit and shook his head: "The wolves here are all too weak, they're no match for me."

"Is that so?" I grunted at that, angering him: "Carl, you're just scared, aren't you? Are you embarrassed because you're afraid you won't win the fight?"

"Who said I was scared?!"

Not surprisingly, my provocation worked and Carl immediately stood up.

"Where can I change?" Tell me, now!" He shouted.

"Why are you in such a hurry?" Marcia hasn't agreed yet."

I rolled my eyes, glanced toward Marcia, and smiled.

"Marcia, I'm doing this for your own good. You're so charismatic among the wolves, there must be a lot of people plotting against you. Improve your fighting skills so that you can protect yourself as well, right?"

However, Marcia still hesitated and said, "I, don't want to ..."

Carl saw that she was still hesitating and got a little impatient.

So he shouted: "Marcia, why are you so hesitant? Avril is doing this for your own good. Come on, go change."

Then he pulled Marcia away.

Marcia didn't have enough strength to resist him, so she had no choice but to be dragged away.

I watched their backs from a distance as they left, smiling smugly.

I walked up to the coach and gently asked, "Coach, can I ask you a favor?"

I thought the coach would refuse my request, but to my surprise he agreed, smiling and saying, "Yes! I'll help you!"

"Thank you, coach." I smiled sweetly.

After a while, Marcia and Carl came back after changing their clothes.

At that moment, the coach suddenly blew the whistle, "Everyone gathers!"

Everyone immediately gathered together and stood in a line.

Marcia and Carl looked at each other and quickly joined the line and stood next to me.

Then the coach taught them some new moves.

Marcia and Carl were confused, but they had to do what the coach said.

This was their first exposure to this kind of training, and it was obvious that they didn't know what to do, to do it right.

Seeing Marcia's awkward movements, I could see that the coach was frustrated, so he immediately went over to her and showed her the way.

"Your hand shouldn't be here. It should be flush with your shoulders. If you don't put your legs out, how are you going to get things done?"

He patiently explained to Marcia as a way to guide her.

Marcia had no choice but to do what the coach said.

I looked at her and couldn't help but smile.

As for Carl, he seemed to be doing this to prove himself.

His movements were surprisingly good.

For this reason, Carl was proud of himself.

Then he looked at me with a smile and said, "Avril, I told you, right? These simple drills mean nothing to me."

When I heard this, I smiled and said, "Really? I think you're really underestimating it. This is just the beginning of the training."

"Hmm. Anyway, I'm not afraid."

"Well, we'll see about that."

Just as we finished talking, the coach started talking.

"Okay, your individual training is over, so we will move on to the next part of the training. From now on, you will be divided into two groups and train with your partners."

Carl was confused when he heard what the coach said and asked, "Coach, do we have to join them too?"

The coach turned around and glanced at them.

"Of course, you have to find a partner to train within three minutes!"

Hearing this, Carl and Marcia turned a little anxious and started looking for their partners.

I suddenly came over and said with a sweet smile, "Marcia, I would like to be your partner."

Marcia thought about it, and she agreed.

Then a strong gray wolf came up to Carl and looked at him.

"Hey brother, how about we train together?" He asked.

Carl looked at the strong man and felt a little scared.

When he was about to refuse, I jokingly said, "Great! Carl is the best wolf in our training field, and I think you should be on the same level as him. This is your best chance to prove yourself, go for it."
