Anthony's doubts

Antony's POV

I stood on the training ground and witnessed the whole thing and couldn't help but wonder a little.

What the hell happened to Avril?

One is her best sister and the other is a man she likes.

Why was she picking on them?

"Go get the coach and ask him what's going on??"

As soon as Reno heard this from me, he immediately nodded and sent someone to call the coach.

Soon, the coach came over.

Reno asked straightforwardly: "What happened on the training ground?

The coach did not answer Reno's question truthfully, but said, "Nothing, just some training."

I could tell right away that he was lying and immediately said, "Cut the crap! Now tell me the truth or you pack up and leave the Silver Lake Pack immediately."

When the coach heard that I was going to make him leave the Silver Lake Pack, he no longer dared to hide anything.

He told me.

Avril said she wanted to teach the pair a lesson, and that's why he went along with it.

After saying what he wanted to say, the coach was still a little worried.

"I'm not going to get kicked out for this, am I?" He asked.

After listening to the coach's explanation, I waved my hand and said, "Got it. You can go now."

The coach immediately let out a sigh of relief and left the room.

"Alpha, what the hell is going on? Isn't Avril close to them? Why does she want to teach them a lesson?"

Reno frowned, apparently he didn't understand why Avril was doing this either.

I didn't understand Avril's reason for doing so either.

But since she did it, she must have her own reasons.

Thinking of this, I stood up and whispered, "Let's go."

As Reno and I left the training ground, I turned my head and saw Avril limping out.

I couldn't help but frown.

"Avril," I called out to her.

She turned around and seemed a little surprised that I was here.

"Anthony, why are you here?" She asked curiously.

"Just happened to be passing by," I said to her calmly.

I looked down at her ankle.

I couldn't help but frown when I saw that her ankle was wrapped in a layer of gauze.

"How did you hurt your foot?" I asked.

"It's just a sprain. It's no big deal." She replied.

"A sprain?"

I pretended I didn't know anything and asked, "This is a training ground, and now you sprained your ankle here, does that mean you were training?"

"Yes." She didn't hide it and nodded her head.

I stared at her in confusion, even more curious.

"Why did you come to the training ground?" I asked.

"Because I want to make my body stronger." She finished with a smile, thought for a moment, and then said seriously, "Only when my body becomes stronger can I be qualified to become Luna of the Silver Lake Pack, ah."

Hearing Avril's words, I was not only surprised.

To be honest, I never thought she would put in such effort to become a strong Luna.

She clearly used to hate becoming a Luna.

What changed her mind?

Was it her love for me?

My feelings became a little complicated, not quite sure if this answer was the right one.

While I was silent, Avril seemed a little tired to she leaned on my shoulder and sighed. "God, I'm so tired today."

I already knew what really happened at the training ground.

How could she not feel tired after fighting for so long?

"If you're tired, take a break. I'll wake you up when we get home." I said to her gently.

"Okay." Avril finished the sentence and leaned back into my arms reassuringly.

She was really too tired and fell asleep within two minutes.

Avril's sleeping position seemed a little twisted and looked a little strange.

I moved towards her and adjusted my position so that she could lean against me more comfortably.

That was it, she slept the whole way.

When we finally got home, she hadn't woken up yet.

I carried her upstairs and laid her gently on the bed.

After that, I sat on the edge of the bed and watched her quietly.

Her features were delicate and well-defined, and her pouting lips made her look as lovely as the moon goddess.

The room was unusually quiet, and even our breathing was audible.

After a long time, I leaned down to her and kissed her gently on the lips.

Avril did not respond, as she was still asleep.

I looked at her, then took her into my arms.
